Hello guys,

Hope you are doing great so far. I would like to know about your favorite music all the time. For me, I love 1990s music a lot. What about you?

Thanks for your time!

I'm a big fan of good OSTs and the addition of Izanami "Za Warudo" Hades into BlazBlue brings another amazing piece of music to the series. Like the entire soundtrack from any BlazBlue game is great but this is one of the best.

Also obligatory Silent Scream post cuz it's fucking Terumi. He's so trash but has the most diehard mains in the world, including myself.

Plus the entire Guilty Gear Xrd soundtrack too, the entire thing is godlike. Disappointed that they didn't make new music for the older characters in Revelator though. They redid everyone's music from Continuum Shift to Chrono Phantasma in BlazBlue so i'm surprised they didn't do it from SIGN to Revelator.

Also Jojo OPs. All of them.

Not sure that I'd call it my favorite of all time, but I do rather like the orchestral rendition of Phoenix Wright's "Cornered"

More generally, I love a good strings section, and I love a good brass section. So some perennial favorites of mine include:

...I've been listening to classical composers lately, alright?

Oh, also Canon Rock, as arranged by JerryC.

More seasonally, I'm also quite fond of Savatage's "Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12-24"

I'm really fond of folk music. Check out Pentangle. They describe themselves as a 13th century rock & roll band.

I also love folk music a lot. This is really inspiration of our history culture.

I don't like to hear all instrumental music. But violin is really amazing and love it so far.

I'll listen to about anything. I love jazz [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEh83c1wkMA], rock [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QexOuH8GS-Y] (mostly late 60s and early 70s), hip hop [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m444tSZBvz0] (pretty much all 90s), reggae [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDYAqz603TE], techno [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWnX41TBFF4] and even folk [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_SzHrH78DI] from time to time. Except I don't really listen to metal, besides the big names. Don't listen to video game music either, at least not by itself.

Techno. Mostly the harder end, but also beakbeat hardcore (i.e.oldschool rave).

Old death/black/thrash/doom metal often makes an appearance.

Also early 90's gangsta rap/hip hop.

Have a certain fondness for 90's alternative rock.

I was a teenager in the 90's, if you hadn't guessed.

EDIT: and I do have a couple of Pentangle albums as it goes.

I'm pretty much a classic rock guy loving Zeppelin, Queen, Boston, The Who, and many more. However, a modern Japanese artist is probably my all-time favorite musician. And her name is Shiina Ringo. She does just about every genre imaginable and also constantly mixes genres. She does straight rock with a band she created and fronted. She does solo stuff that utilizes probably every single instrument known to man. To top it off, she writes her own stuff and has a huge hand in composition as well.

My favorite music of all time varies as I age. If we're talking genres, it would probably be techno, particularly Trance style, but as of late, the "techno" band I enjoy the most is Above and Beyond, so probably not "trance".

After fiddling with Pandora for a while, and seeing what song elements were a common theme for me, regardless of genre, I'm apparently a big fan of harmony, melody, and drums. So, if you have those in your music, I'll probably dig it.

Examples of bands I like that all had similar elements from Pandora were:

Faith No More
RUSH
Breaking Benjamin
TOOL
Various rock bands that I never really listened to but apparently had similar elements
Lots of electronica
There aren't a lot of bands that I consistently like everything they do, most bands I like a handful of their songs, and could do without the rest. However Faith No More, RUSH, TOOL, and Breaking Benjamin consistently put out product that I enjoy the majority of it. But I also like to slap on a random techno podcast and let the various songs flow into the background of whatever I'm doing.

Currently I'm soaking up this one remix of a Lana Del Ray song, that just has fucking teeth to it. The original is...ok I guess, but this remix with the added synth stuff just really hits my "yes please" button.
