I would probably go for Arthas' Frostmourne sword from the Warcraft series, I mean c'mon look at it

Damn I got ninjad. Yeah Frostmourne is my favourite named weapon definitely. I mean yeah, It's super evil but its so damned cool. It has such an impact on the world around it. It can consume souls. I mean, in the Lich King encounter it actually attempts to steal the souls of the players mid-fight.

Plus there is the classic quote "Frostmourne hungers..."

Out of all the fictional weapons, though, I really like the name Basilikos from Fire Emblem 7. It just sounds so sinister and awesome.

Searing touch , a weapon from path of exile because while its a level 30 weapon you can use it at 100 with certain builds, also the flavor text "Burn to cinders, Scar and Maim, Rule a world bathed in flame" That or the pearlescent Unforgiven from borderlands 2 that was just so much fun to use, a pistol with sniper level accuracy and damage

Retribution from The Night Angel trilogy is also amazing. A Shapeshifting sword that is secretly one of the most poerful magical focuses ever made....and its made of one perfect solid shapeshifting DIAMOND cause whay not

Yes and Yes to the Retribution and you forgot to mention that it can shapeshift into different types of weapons. Guan Yu's Blue Dragon is also awsome but as for my favorite it has to be Curoch from the night angel trilogy. Its Retributions older more powerful brother

A neat little shotgun from Borderlands 2 called the SWORDSPLOSION!!! [http://borderlands.wikia.com/wiki/SWORDSPLOSION].

It shoots swords. Which explode. Which splits into smaller swords. Which also explode.

Mind you, in two days a shotgun called the Carnage will be released in the game. If i can find it i might change my mind.

This will probably age me, but when it comes to video games, my favourite named weapon has always been the Unstoppable Force from WoW... It just looked crazy and I loved chasing gnomes with it.

Favorite named weapon? Well, I'll have to go with "Pig-sticker". It is the metal baseball bat that I shattered half of it. It can now bludgeon, slash and pierce people. Yep, it is my anti thief weapon that stays next to my bed.
