Your favorite new albums

Simple thread concept. Simply put, I am tired about hearing about all these older bands and songs they made like 10 years ago. Are there any new Albums or CD that have come out recently that you have loved?

I shall start with Electric Six, The Sex-charged Indie rock band that just released their new album

Electric Six has a very interesting sound, they cross Rock beats with synths and generate a very sexy sound in their songs. For those who don't know the band you may recognize them from their popular songs like "Gay Bar" and "Danger, High Voltage!".

Kill is easily their most aggressive album yet, and I have fallen madly in love with it.

So other escapees any new and stimulating music out there that you would like to share?

I liked Paramore's new album Brand New Eyes.

All the songs are good and it's quite fun to listen to.

I've been listening to Tonight: Franz Ferdinand, by Franz Ferdinand this week, and I love it.

Only "new" album I've found would be Cage the Elephant, and its only really new for me cause I only just heard of them (the American re-release, not the Borderlands intro). It's surprisingly indie for my tastes.

On Topic: I think The E.N.D. by The Black Eyed Peas is somewhat new, it's the last new album We bought. Best I could think of.

Does the newly remastered Help! by The Beatles count? 'Cos that's my favourite record of those I've bought recently. Apart from that it would have to be Fleet Foxes, but I can't really listen to it without thinking how it could be made better with some more interesting counterpoint...

Rammstein's new album Liebe Ist Für Alle Da is pretty damn good and also Kid Cudi's Man on the Moon: The End of Day is pretty decent as well.

Arctic Monkeys new album blew me away, lyrically it was not as smart as 'Whatever people say Iam..." but i still enjoyed it. Gutted I didnt get tickets to see them live.

Even more Excellent choice. God I love Muse.

For me? I don't know, I'm pretty sporadic with my music choices. I usually discover bands several years too late. Best one I can think of at the moment is Imperial Leisure. Excellent ska/punk/rock mixture.

Not really, but you can listen to the album and decide if it's worth getting yourself.
