Your favorite Orchestral Music soundtrack in Games?

I think my favorite orchestrated music might come from Guild Wars 2, Jeremy Soule is already pretty well known for his work on other RPGs, especially the Elder Scrolls series, but I think this right here might be some of his best work.


Also, the beauty of this game's soundtrack is that not only Soule has composed for it, Maclaine Diemer has worked with the Living World content and the new expansion, some of those songs can definitely rival and sometimes even surpass Soule's work.

Guild Wars 2. Jeremy Soule is a god of gaming composers. Wonder if he'll ever do a film soundtrack...

I haven't played 2, but I loved (and still love) the music from the first Guild Wars.

Agreed about Jeremy Soule. If I were King of the World I'd conscript him as my personal bard.

It's great that almost every single track from GW1 was kept intact in 2, as the saying goes "don't fix what ain't broke". I still feel adventurous and excited when I hear Temple of Tolerance while exploring Kryta in GW2, it's still pretty fucking dangerous after 2 centuries.

Honestly I have never been able to remember one piece of music from that entire franchise outside of the main theme of the title screen in the first game.
