I don't really know who my favourite team is, since there are several I like, so I'll just list my favourite players from each of my positive teams:

Tennessee - Cortland Finnegan (plays CB and is damn good at it, that's the position I play whenever I get the chance to have a game)
San Diego - Darren Sproles (Fuck you LT!)
Jacksonville - Maurice Jones-Drew (Gives the Jaguars their teeth)
Cincinnati - Chad Ochocinco (Is there a more awesome name?)
Washington - Albert Haynesworth (God. Damn. Wrecking. Machine.)

Darren Sproles is insane. 5'6 and probably the best running back in the league, but it's too bad he's still second string behind old man Tomlinson.

The logo represents the whole team. American football is all about teamwork if any one player doesn't do their job well usually it falls apart. I'm not saying soccer isn't like that. I'm just saying that's the whole point of a mascot is to represent the whole team and the town/state... and they're neat.
No it doesn't, the logo represents marketing, not a team. The logo does not represent what the teams strive for, what they fight for.

They fight for a trophy, in their name, not for a logo.

Having a mascot is neat though, its good for the kids I agree.
When you quotted mine you said you had no idea what I was talking about,
How would you know the slightest thing about what the Logo represents

FAVRE IS A TRAITOR!
Brett Favre cant make up his mind about who he is playing for

Because its a Logo, that's marketing, not a sport.

The only people I know who worship a logo are Apple Mac users, and we all know how batshit insane they are! :D

Well your right about one thing. MacUsers are batshit insane

But its not just a logo for football, a football team is family, a way of life, it is more than just endorsement deals and logos

New England Patriots. Why? Because there the goddamn best in the league in my opinon.

Also, no offense op but there are a lot of people here who don't live in the states. How about making it the NFL for the Americans, Soccer for the Europeans (Or any other fans), and possibly Rugby for the fans of those teams.
Best in the league? Do you actually watch football or still just clinging to the bandwagon after their almost perfect season? They flat-out suck this year.
Yes I do and No I've been a fan since 1993. And don't you think it's a bit early to claim they suck this year? It's only the 3rd week. Besides there 1-1.
You can tell they suck by the way the players are performing, and the way they are reacting to challenges. And they are 1-2. The entire team was Tom Brady, and thus far he looks worse than Michael Bishop of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
You don't win championships with only one player. It took a team effort to win those 3 super bowls and to get to Super bowl 42 with no losses (The Giants wanted it more and despite the fact I dislike them for it, they did deserve it.) He just came back from a year and a half on Injury reserve, Peyton Manning went throuh the same thing a couple years back and it took him 7 games to get back in the zone.
Don't get me wrong, for the 3 bowls they won, they had an entire team. They were awesome. But now, with retirements and whatnot, they are just Tom Brady and a sad excuse for a defense. Yes, they also have great receivers, but with a QB like Brady, anyone could be an awesome receiver.
True. Brady has been great player and most of the Receivers were awsome before playing with Brady. Randy Moss for example is one of the Greatest football recivers of our generation and Watson (The TE and one of my personal faveorite players) has been doing great. I will admit that our defense has suffered these last two years. Also just a heads up, the Pats beat the Falcons yesterday there 2-1 not 1-2.

Yeah, that was a typo along with wishful thinking. I had Matt Ryan as my fantasy QB >< Fucker let me down hard.

Yeah, that might be how it is where you live (I'm assuming England or Scotland), but here in the US I've never heard of a riot over a soccer game. In fact, I've never heard of anyone caring about a soccer game.

If he lived in England why would he be creating a Thread about American Football? I don't think that they even get Football down in England.

The Rams. They suck right now, but, I like there uniforms.

Also, formerly Chargers fan, and formerly, formerly Steelers fan.

I dislike them both now.

Ah, my mistake. Didn't notice that he was the guy who started the thread. I also completely misinterpreted his post, thought he was being sarcastic and cutting down football.
