ý"Anytime I need to see your face
I just close my eyes
And I am taken to a place where your crystal mind and
Magenta feelings take up shelter in the base of my spine
Sweet like a chica cherry cola"

"Nothing is more difficult, and therefore more precious, than to be able to decide." -Napoleon

Very true. The power of decision is very valuable.

I've got a couple:
"When you can't win in a fight, sometimes you have to settle for making sure that if you lose, everyone loses. It works for nuclear weapons; it works for me."
- Michael Weston
"Speed has never killed anyone, suddenly becoming stationary... that's what gets you."
-Jeremy Clarkson.
"Pwangg?" Trees don't go "Pwangg--" Llamas don't go "Pwangg--" Nothing found in nature goes "Pwangg", which means -- we're officially hip deep in the smelly stuff."
-Deadpool

"(insert random moronity) make(s) the baby Jesus cry."

I may have stolen it from someone unwittingly, but I'll be damned if I know where or who.

"Ignore me."
...I don't have a source for this one, but I say it all the time. Because it's usually better to. And I'm starting to rant.
Ignore me.

-Anonymous climber after rapling off the end of his rope
An obviously inexperienced climber.
The proper thing to say would be
"Falling!"
When oneself makes such a large error; seeing as no one can save you but yourself at that stage, all you can do is warn others with a heads up so you don't fall on them and make a bigger problem. -Ignoring the fact that it would be a very noobish mistake indeed to not have a more than abundant length of rope for the face.

Perfect. His Buseyisms are awesome too.

I have just spent the last 90 minutes watching various Gary Busey videos on YouTube. A BuseyTrope session is almost as bad as a TVTropes session.

I got a funny one stuck in my head from a couple of days ago :)

"Cheyenne, Stay." - Sunny Smiles

I don't know why it just makes me chuckle the way she says it.

"Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every 'superstar,' every 'supreme leader,' every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam." -Carl Sagan

I can't think of my favorite quote right now, but I will say this.

Anytime I think about that (^^^) idea, I have to take 5 minutes or so to wrap my head around it. The vastness of the universe is simply staggering. Take a look at some pictures of supernovae or something, then look up the scale of the picture. Its usually covers upwards of millions of miles.

Also, think about it the next time you are feeling upset about something or someone, and know that they are just as insignificant as you.

Edit: Errr, swearing in the first quote so if you are not comfortable with that don't say I didn't give you fair warning.

"DO YOU SEE WHAT HAPPENS LARRY? DO YOU SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU FUCK A STRANGER IN THE ASS? THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS LARRY! THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU FUCK A STRANGER IN THE ASS!"

"Smokey, this isn't 'Nam. This is bowling. There are rules."

"The dude abides."

Yeah, saw The Big Lebowski recently. Loved that movie.

Some of my random favourites :)

"You must be the change you wish to see in the world" - Mahatma Gandhi

"Worrying is like a rocking chair, it'll give you something to do, but won't get you anywhere. Write that down," - Van Wilder

"No one has time for your rock star bullshit. None of the techs backstage care if you're David Bowie or the milkman. They are completely unimpressed with your infantile display that you might think comes with your dubious status. They were there hours before you building the stage, and they will be there hours after you tearing it down. They should get your salary and you should get theirs!" - Henry Rollins (this is one of my faves, as it's extremely, VERY true)
