Uh...pretty sure ALL villains fail in the end. If not, RPGs wouldn't be too fun to play, because none of them would be winnable.SilverJin02 said:Curse me for saying it, but I'll just start by saying Kefka's a failure in my eyes. Yes, he achieved godhood. And then STILL failed. And he's a clown. CLOOOWN.
Dear sir, I'm not amused by the fact that you have stolen my post, I would like to see it returned to me. Thank you very much.Draconalis said:Luca Blight.
Hands down.
Errr, no offense, but I think you missed my point a little. Yes, obviously they should fail in the end...but from a story standpoint...he achieved godhood and lost. I get that he had to lose...but again, from a pure plot standpoint, it's kinda pathetic.Louzon said:Uh...pretty sure ALL villains fail in the end. For my pick, I pick Saturo, Menardi, and Alex from the Golden Sun series.
I must agree, there is no better villain than one that is not only pure evil, but also flipping out of his violently tiny little mind insane. (ie The Joker)-Dragmire- said:KEFKA!!! Best villain of all time!

Gives the world a midgame nuking!
That was my first thought too. His arc really made the last act of Mass Effect interesting.RatRace123 said:I'm gonna have to go with Saren from Mass Effect. He made Mass Effect as strong a game as it was with his antagonistic presence. The sequel's story was a lot weaker without an antagonist like Saren.
I'm sorry, I can't hear you very well from down there, maybe you should oink louder swine!bluegate said:Dear sir, I'm not amused by the fact that you have stolen my post, I would like to see it returned to me. Thank you very much.
Damn you!The Madman said:Irenicus from Baldur's Gate 2. Not only did he turn out to be a fairly sympathetic character once you begin to realize his motivations later in the game, but he genuinely gets shit done. Seriously, this isn't some pushover villain that stands in the background and monologues only to turn into a complete wimp once it's time to throw down, no, he's not only fully capable of kicking ass but does so multiple times throughout the game making him feel like a genuine threat.
Ho-ho, how very well played ! :ODraconalis said:I'm sorry, I can't hear you very well from down there, maybe you should oink louder swine!bluegate said:Dear sir, I'm not amused by the fact that you have stolen my post, I would like to see it returned to me. Thank you very much.

I'd give you a cookie for that post there, if only I had cookies to give...
I said it above, but I have to quote you and say it to you because I hear it so little from others: I love Kreia. Her arc (beginning before the game and ending at Dantooine) is so amazingly written, and I love the idea that the last act is basically her BSOD.4173 said:Kreia has the most interesting philosophy and character.
Jon Irenicus was the best as far as being a foil, threat and cathartic to beat.
