Its a tie between "There is a Light that Never Goes Out" by The Smiths and "Man on the Moon" by R.E.M. both incredible songs.

Spotlight (Oh Nostalgia) by Patrick Stump is my current favorite. It changes a lot for me, but I honestly think this one can last for a long time. The lyrics are just so positive and uplifting, and really speak to me on a level most don't.

I fucking love Patrick Stump. His solo stuff is so fantastic.

So what's your fav. I will edit later what's mine....

EDIT: mine is Ain't no rest for the wicked by Cage the Elephants,Simphonies,I really don't know, just type in NBA2k11 simphonies :) and...Toby Turner's (Tobuscus) song's like IM A BIRD MOTHER F****** and his Literals :D
I can never pick a song, but essentially the entire Pretty Hate Machine, Nine Inch Nails album. I see that album as pretty much the story of my life.

I hope you know that was just a cover, right? The original was written by Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails)
Unfortunately a hell of a lot of people make that mistake...

EDIT: Just realized I sorta double posted there. Whoops.

It's just that the Johnny Cash version is better I think. Even Reznor himself said something along the lines of "It's like someone's taken your baby" because he thought it was a better version too.

Ok fair enough, just wanted to make sure you knew Reznor wrote it. And I know Reznor said that, I understand what he's getting at, but I disagree. I like the original better.
