I think they both sound better in Italian. In the case of the first; I have a hard time understanding English version of it to began with. I would need to looked up the lyric to understand the English version.
The second one I understand better but I still have to look at lyric to completely understand it.

I have been looking into the Japanese Language for years and while I'm nowhere near fluent I wouldn't be completely screwed if a mad billionaire kidnapped me and dropped me off in the middle of Shinjuku for no reason. Anyway that being said, there are a few Japanese songs whose lyrics I can kind of pick up. This song however...


...is a bit too fast for me to follow. I still love the song even though I can't sing along to a majority of it. As though that wasn't fast enough though, there's another version of this song performed by a different vocaloid:

Well, I do speak Swedish, English, Japanese and German (level of profiency in that order from highest to lowest, maybe 10, 9, 8 and 4 on a scale from 1-10) so alot of the music I listen to (The Offspring, Rammstein, Kent and various Japanese songs) doesn't really apply here.

I've been listening to Japanese songs over half my life, Spanish for even longer, and a tiny bit of French, German, Finnish, and Swedish. So possibly...

I really need to look up more of their stuff, past the original Emerald Sword saga...or even just more of their Italian songs.

As is, the only one I remember them singing in Italian is Lamento Eroico, which I absolutely love.

I speak Swedish and English fluently, and a little bit of French("tourist french" level, actually had it in high school and had good grades but...) and Japanese(understand the grammar, tiny vocabulary). Other languages I've picked up stray words and phrases or can understand some by proximity(like German).

I have dyslexic hearing of a sorts that makes it difficult for me to make out what people are saying, so when it comes to songs I have absolutely no clue what they're singing unless it's crystal clear.

I have no idea if you're inclined to listen to this kind of music or not, but this is one of the few bands where I've read the lyrics.

There's a ton of stories behind their songs, especially "Pitala si me" which is sort of a revenge song made out to sound fairly romantic. A girlfriend to one of the bandmember asked why they didn't use her name in one of their songs and was obnoxious about it, so they made this song all about how it'd make her seem cheap seeing the CD at half price with a song dedicated to her and similar stuff.

The only Croatian I know is what I've learned from hearing my parents speak. I have no formal education so I can't read that, I'm afraid. I may get around to properly learning the language one day since it's part of my roots. I don't mind this kind of music, I have a Polish friend that sends me stuff like this often.

I've never been a fan of screaming, but these two bands have hit that perfect middleground in my eyes of actually sounding like it is a person singing compared to a gargoyle, yet still sounding gruff.

As a Swede... that's uncanny as hell. The sound of it is like Swedish, like this sounds like it's sung in a Swedish dialect, but it's almost complete gibberish to me(I can understand it even less than Icelandic, the odd word only, like "han" means "him" in basically all scandinavian languages). But it makes me think I should understand it, because it sounds like my own language, argh!
