Your Favorite Title Screen

Ahh, the title screen. We see you every time we start up a game. You always ask us if we want to start a new journey or continue a previous one. You allow us to tinker with the buttons and make the game seem louder or quieter. You can turn on blood and language or make our aim inverted.

What would we do without you?

So I'm here to ask The Escapists a question. What is YOUR favorite title screen?

It could be plain or more dynamic. It could have nostalgic music playing in the background or have some of your favorite characters standing about.

My favorite title screen would have to be L.A. Noire. The plain black and white screens are eye catching.

Metroid Prime, I can just turn on the gamecube and sit at the menu in a trance,completely forgeting that theres even a game to play after the amazing song.

I liked Fallout 3's for the music, Gears 2 set up the mood for the game...but I guess I'll go with ether Halo 3: ODST's or Call of Duty: World at War's.

Metroid Prime, mostly because the Menu theme is fucking this-


But also because it looks nice enough. It's the background for that video but animated, if you didn't know.

Hmmmm... Not exactly something I think of much. I'm going to go with Black Ops. I just like the torture chair thing where you can look around, and breaking out to play on the computer is a nice touch. That and Soul Calibur 4 has a nice view.

I must amit I was surprised by Hard Reset's Main Menu and Menus in general, However my all time favourites where the old simple Final Fantasy's since they where simply the name of the game and Continue, New Game and Options.

Honestly, I liked the Black Ops one. Where you could look around/ walk around/ play an arcade game.

I guess I have to confess, now. I, Too, Love the Final Fantasy screens. Especially F.F. XIII. The music makse my sister cry.

I've always thought the Final Fantasy games had very nice title screens.

I regard the actual games with disdain or indifference, but damn if those opening screens aren't awfully pretty.

Yeah, XIII had a great title theme but, I liked Kingdom Hearts II more. Square Enix FTW right?
