Schlock Mercenary.
DM of the Rings.
Stolen Pixels.

I don't really read Webcomics that often, though.

Roosterteeth comics, Ctrl-alt-del, dueling analogs, nerf now, eatatau, turn signals on a landraider now ended sadly and romantically apocalyptic all great and proof on how much of a life I have.

Cyanide & Happiness, Penny Arcade, and I occasionally found Chugworth Academy funny.

Three-way tie between Cyanide and Happiness, Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal, and Spamusement.

EDIT: VG Cats, too, but it's sad it doesn't update fast.

Questionable Content, Concession, Precocious, Least I Could Do, Manly Guys Doing Manly Things, Pokemon X, and myriad others.

I think Concession and Precocious are my favorites, though.

Either Octopus Pie or Achewood
Octopus pie is pretty great.
It seems to be doing everything right that questionable content is doing wrong. (interesting characters, actual drama etc.)
Indeed, I feel kinda guilty for still checking up on Questionable Content because it's pretty lame more often than not.

So many of them are gems, but I like this one the most. [http://fanboys-online.com/index.php?comic=284]
It's such a shame he let it die. Close to every strip was gold.

This ^. Richard is my hero and idol. I want to be just like him when I grow up...and die...and come back to life.

Hyperbole and a Half. That reminds me, time to check that out.
Oh, I forgot that one! It's so cute. I love reading her blog as well. Really cracks me up.

Anyway, my favourites are pretty unimaginative - Questionable Content [http://questionablecontent.net/], Gunnerkrigg Court [http://www.gunnerkrigg.com/], pictures for sad children [http://www.picturesforsadchildren.com/], CAD [http://cad-comic.com/]. Stuff like that. I used to read this really awesome zombie apocalypse one. The artwork was great. I just can't remember it anymore. There was some waitress with a bandanna. And a skateboard.
I think I might know what you're talking about. Is it Dead Winter ( http://deadwinter.cc/ )?

More on topic: I'd have to say Cyanide & Happiness, VG Cats, Sexy Losers, The Perry Bible Fellowship (which strangely has nothing to do with religion,) and Goblins.
