Either the thompson for awesomeness, the m1 garand for awesomeness,or the bren gun for star wars clone trooper conversion awesomeness.
No, that was the overwhelming numbers compaired to the Axis. As far as i'm aware, as far as guns go, they were both impractical and unreliable.Fox242 said:Dead tie between the Tommy Gun

These weapons were a big part of the arsenal of overwhelming firepower that helped the U.S. carry on the fight in two different theaters and come out on top.
Uh...the M1 is a semi-automatic weapon. Maybe you're thinking of the springfield M1903?Straying Bullet said:Any 'one-shot' calibre weapon.

Some german single-handedly killed hundreds of American troops using this weapon on D-Day.
Yeah, the M1 was my grandfather's from the war. He taught me how to shoot on that weapon and when he passed bequeathed it to me along with his officer's Colt .45. And the Mosin I got at a gunshow in Texas for about $150.Spartan1175 said:Own? Sweet.darkman80723 said:Dead tie between Mosin-Nagant and the M1 Garand. I own both and both are excellent weapons.
