Your favorite Youtube channels with fanbases you hate?

I'll be honest, I like watching Tobuscus at times. I mean, he has far too many videos that I'll ever be interested in watching, but he's a LP that keeps me entertained enough. However, his followers and the people in the comments are just...stupid. Consisting of either stupid teenagers, or 9 year olds that try to "be Toby" on any online game he has played. (Isketch.net is full of these annoying bastards...Names like "I'm Toby" or "TobiTurner")

Another smaller channel I watch, ReviewTechUSA, has about 50% reasonable people, 50% people who can't accept anyone elses opinion that isn't their own. There's also this constant bickering about stuff like "PC gamers are too entitled" or people who just refuse to ever educate themselves on PC gaming spouting around lies.

Anyway, those are just two examples. What about yours?

But srsly, pretty much the only YT channels I follow are Ashens, Game Grumps, Angry Joe, and a couple of small-time animators. They're fans are relatively decent people I suppose. I guess of the ones I've listed, Game Grumps is probably the worst, but when you're that popular, attracting assholes is inevitable.

I just wish they'd leave poor Ross alone...

The main thing that bothers me with the Game Grumps fans is their lack of patience. When Jon left, nobody would even bother to wait until Danny could show that he was able to be a good replacement. Also, while I mostly find it hilarious, they can't just sit there and watch them fail at certain parts. While I can understand their frustration, some people really just get pissed off at them for being bad at a game.

Also the "local trolls", those ones that purposely come back to every video specifically to be idiotic and make themselves look stupid because they know they're mostly safe behind a computer screen.

I completely agree with the "rage at them sucking" thing. When I see them play a game badly, I usually just sit there thinking "Ha. Oh you guys..." but some people get, like, legitimately angry, and I really don't understand why.

And the dedicated trolls bother me too. Not so much that they post things, but that the entire comment section tends to be flooded with the "STFU kill yourself" comments of those replying to a blatant troll. I mean, this can't be your first day on the internet. You must know that when someone says they're unsubing because of the hosts are gay or use foul language, they're not serious. Especially when it's literally the same person every day.

I'm half in agreement with the host switch thing. While I love Danny, (I honestly like him better than Jon,) they handled that transition REALLY poorly. It was just so... abrupt. They should have announced that Jon was leaving, released a couple more Jon episodes, and eased us in to Dan. Maybe even have a game of Mario Party with Arin, Jon, Ross, and Danny.

Although to be fair, they might not have had the time to do all that for behind-the-scenes reasons. From what I gather, Jon didn't seem to give Arin much notice.

My first instinct is to say "All of them" as rarely do I venture in to the comments sections for reasons that should be plainly obvious. However, when given more thought, Game Grumps seems to pop up more and more. Mostly from when Jon left. Jon was fine but I like Danny better. It brings to mind when Joel left MST3K and was replace with Mike. My first reaction was "This is Bullshit!" but it turned out that Mike was better. I do think the transition from Jon to Danny was handled poorly but I don't know what might have forced the issue. Regardless, I will continue my trend to watch videos and ignore what everyone has to say about them.

I liked Joel's delivery better than Mike's. Joel had a kind of dead pan delivery that I enjoy, Mike's was a bit more... happy and high energy, still good though.

PewDiePie been mentioned yet? No? Well, that's mine. The "Bro" army is so freaking unbareable.

A good example of their behavior is when UberHaxorNova done a Slender video, which he starts off saying that everyone else has played it already. Cue the bros shouting that he "copied" PewDiePie.

Paint. His videos are absolutely amazing but his fanbase seems to consist almost entirely of 13 year old girls who need to tell the world how hot he is. His talent is deserving of such a better fanbase.
