I like youtubers, I like the lets players, the ranters, the movie makers, the animators, the put stuff on screen and talk about it, the reviewers, the nostalgia guys who remind you why the 90's were awesome (suck it Movie Bob the 90's rock) and much much more. So tell me who your favorite youtuber or tubers are and why?

For me, I want to say Stuart Ashen and his channel Ashens http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxt9Pvye-9x_AIcb1UtmF1Q
If I were to describe him, take Yahtzee, slow him down, and then make him review crap from Poundland. He also does blind bags where he opens up the random bags, and if its good, its goes on the shelf of interesting items, if not, he kills it with fire.

He also is a bit of an actor, going on BBC and doing comedy stuff, and even made his own movie "The Quest for the Game Child"

Seriously I like him for his British Dead pan snarker attitude, and why I always tune in to see what he has to say for the crap in poundland.

EDIT, Add on statement:

To continue what I like

Favorite Ranter: I do like the works of MrRepzion, very level headed, honest and good spirited, in a pinch Amazing Atheist but I see him more for entertainment then enlightenment

Favorite Lets Player: I love GameGrumps, even without Jon, they still do good, and Steam Train is also fun. The yogscast's Simon and Lewis come in an extremely close second

Favorite Reviewer: Not to insult Yahtzee here but I prefer the ranting style of ProJared, I love him for his Angry Video Game nerd styled reviews and his humor is more smart (not to say that James Rolfe isn't smart) Yahtzee I still do enjoy for a good laugh on the Escapist's channel

Favorite "Mind Series": The always classic Freeman's mind, My god, making Gordan Freeman insane, violence, and a complete jerk is completely awesome in this series

Favorite Abridged Series: I love Yugioh Abridged, for better or worse, followed by Naruto abridged, and I'm not gonna lie, never got into DBZ abridged (but mostly because I never liked DBZ to begin with)

And yeah...

My favorite right now is... I don't know his name. I just know his videos are hilarious. He is really a niche youtuber though, you have to like metalcore and pop punk to understand some of the humor. These are his three golden gems.

It depends on what I'm looking for. My overall favorite is Team Four Star. The DBZ Abridged series is pure gold. My favorite gun youtuber is iraqveteran8888 or Hickok45. My favorite LPer is TheRadBrad I just enjoy his humor

Fraser over at Video Games Awesome. He's awesome.

This isn't a video on their channel. But it's a fan-made compilation to explain exactly what they're about.

I have a lot of favorites. Youtube is my primary source of entertainment, after all.

But if I had to pick one, it would be The Game Theorist. He's really sky-rocketed in popularity lately. I wonder where that came from...

Anyway, the guy tackles some of the most difficult questions in gaming with math, science and the like, all while making it very entertaining to watch. The guy's super smarticles and has a good sense of humor.

Watch his stuff.

He also is partnered with a few other 'Tubers that put some neat stuff on his channel.

The channel I watch the most is still Game Grumps. I find it much less funny since Jon left but it's still the only channel I watch on a nightly basis. I really like Jesse Cox and Total Biscuit, but many of their videos are about shit I just don't care that much about. The podcast that they do with Dodger are definitely my favorite things to watch (except maybe for DBZ Abridged, but those come out so rarely these days), so I guess right now Polaris is my favorite channel

Well right now it's ...

Markiplier
ImmortalHD
and ChilledChaos (CriousGamers).

I really like these guys right now.
They are all funny in their own way.

Although Markiplier is a more horror kind of guy which is clearly in the same genre as PewDiePie, and honestly I think he is a whole lot better then him. The other two are just general Youtubers.

That's a funny coincidence you should mention Ashens, I pretty much been marathoning his stuff all day.

Anyway, my favorite is probably ProJared. I especially like his Pro Reviews because they're really funny and pretty much walk you thorough the entire game. It's like a more high-brow AVGN. I just wish he did them more often...

When it comes to video games, my favourite is probably going to be Totalbiscuit. http://www.youtube.com/user/TotalHalibut
He is very informative and detail about any topic he approaches. I also like the fact that I don't share his opinion on lots of things, gives me hope that one day I can find him and have a good debate. xD

For anime, it'll definitely have to be GRArkada since he is the only big one around.. (maybe I'm just not looking far enough). http://www.youtube.com/user/GRArkada/about
He's entertaining and I just enjoy listening to his thoughts on the shows I also watch.
Favourite quote from him "Fanservice? I mean MANservice". Too much grinning from that.

I did stumble upon this channel called Xion Oxide. http://www.youtube.com/user/TheXionOxide
Not the best I've seen compared to what I'm already watching, the guy certainly has far too much to work on. But at least I can get another opinion out there on anime.

My top 3 are:

Mad Matt(aka: Matt Gardener): He is the best Dance game player in the world. He keeps pushing In the Groove into strange, new places.
Domics: I love the animation style. I love his stories and he's just too damn funny.
Dr. Vikram Yadav: His Blackhead vids are just the best.

Honorable mentions:
Space Rip: I love space documentaries.
RubycoloredBejewled: I love watching the best bejeweled players do their thing.
a-cho battle Movie: Their hour long matches are a blast to watch if your a serious fighting game player.

At the moment, I'd have to say:
-Jesse Cox
-TotalBiscuit
-TheRunawayGuys (and all of their individual channels)
-STAR_ / Niichts

Those are the only four who I watch all of their videos. I occasionally watch Sips and Sjin from the Yogscast if whatever series they're doing at the time interests me.

Currently? RaedWulfGamer. He's like PewDiePie, except significantly less annoying.

BriTANickdotcom: Some of the best comedy I've seen on YouTube, though they only come out with new stuff every never.

Big Think & minutephysics: They're both interesting, informative, and easy enough for me to understand.

PewDiePie: I've seen quite a bit of hate for him and his fan base but I still occasionally enjoy his horror game LPs. They're usually interesting games I've never heard of. He gets freaked out playing the games; it seriously kills the LP for me if the reviewer is matter of fact about things and not affected by any of the scary parts of the game. He's kinda terrible at the games (at least for a LPer) which is funny to watch.

Roosterteeth. I know they're technically a company that just uses Youtube. But fuck me I can't help but love them.
I would count Achievement Hunter as YouTubers since all their stuff goes straight to YouTube rather than being hosted on the Rooster Teeth site, even though AH is still a part of RT. They are definitely my favourites.

Depends on the type of content really. For gaming news and first impressions I watch Totalbiscuit. For reviews I check out if Angry Joe has made anything. His reviews are quite entertaining to watch, have some good analysis, and he's overall pretty adorable, if a bit overzealous at times. For Dota stuff, Purge of course. Podcasts, noone really, they are usually too long to bother with. As for LP's, I don't usually watch any, but TheAuZZieGamer's videos are absolutely hilarious, even though he makes them very rarely.

This girl. [http://www.youtube.com/user/xXtheLadyoftheLakexX] She's a Let's Player who's just starting out. She's still getting the hang of things but she's not bad at all.

The reason she's my favorite is that she's a close friend of mine in real life.

She's currently doing he first LP of an old Sailor Moon game, and you can see the first episode here [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nq8pA0BxY9I].
