The lightning-shuriken gun is just jamming together the Tesla Claw from Ratchet & Clank and the Chopper from Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando. I'm not saying that the combo isn't bad-ass, but it's not that original.
And another thing-Yahtzee needs to review a fucking Ratchet & Clank game. They kick ass. Regularly. Fun, inventive weapons, lush, detailed landscapes, and constantly funny writing. It would probably be a refreshing change from Halo-drone FPSs and GTA-clone sandbox ...erm...applesauce, because while I love this series, his reviews for some of these games are becoming as generic as the games themselves. Yahtzee is at least somewhat aware of this, and thankfully was able to do things interesting (Wolfenstein and Prototype vs. inFamous), but I'm getting a little tired of hearing about mediocre FPSs, crummy JRPGs, WoWheads and Cheetos, and some of his other quotable quotes that he quotes too often.
