People are claiming (and some are believing) that a planetary alignment will turn gravity off for 5 minutes on April 4th.

I heard about a similar prank broadcast from the BBC some time ago. Listeners apparently called in stating that they had been able to jump noticeably higher than they normally could.

OT: My favourite so far is probably the flying penguins migrating to the rainforest. Thanks, Attenborough!

My favorite prank that was pulled on me happened a few years ago. I was working in an office, and the mouse for my computer wasn't working. The computer was on, the keyboard worked, but nothing I did made the damn cursor move. I restarted the computer, unattached and reattached all the wires, but was befuddled for quite some time.

Then I finally looked at the underside of the mouse. Somebody had taken a small sliver of a post-it note and covered the lazer with it, writing "April Fools" on the bottom.

I thought it was a great prank. Subtle in all the right ways.

Today I told my friend the Queen died last night. He claimed a message from Fallout told him that the Queen was supposed to die today or a week or two ago, so we made a bet about it. He would get another friends copy of left 4 dead 2 if he was correct in predicting the Queens death, and if he was wrong, the other friend would get Final fantasy 13(Either way, the other friend would have lost ). My other friend even edited a bbc article on the Queens mother's death to make it look like ol'Lizzie passed away due to a heart attack. Someone else gave it away, and everyone received the back of my hand in return. As well as the front, and the side...
