Your favourite 40k race?

So seeing as I cant squeeze this into a poll, its gonna be a regular post.

Stemming from boredom, curiousity and some geekage I guess, I wanna know what's your favourite race from the 40k universe and why?


I'd say mine are Eldar cos they're alien, sarcastic, with a quick-wit. They have some of the best technology and the way they use the other races for their benefit is kinda nice.
Also their kinda a walking tradgedy to which is always fun.

Eldar and Tyranids.

Eldar because they're crafty, cunning, and a little different than the usual tank-men. Plus, they have mind powers, always a plus. I also like them because they use females in their military. Even though I've never played DoW 2 (only DoW), the Farseer is a favourite of mines. Not exactly sure why.

Tyranids for obvious reasons of being awesome aliens. If the Warhammer universe continued, the Tyranids would obviously win as the rest of the fleet travels intou the Milky Way galaxy. Even the combined might of every other race wouldn't stop the entire Tyranid race.

hmmmm chaos.

Tzeentch is my patron god. yay for invulnerable saves.

But in game terms chaos was the most destructive infantry, a sweet crab tank, and on a one on one basis theres nothing to match them.

I'm going to have to go with the Tau, for among other reasons they are the most original of the races. Alongside them we have Space Humans, Space Orks, Space Elves, Space Bugs... actually, I guess the Necrons are kinda cool too. But I have a Tau army, and they seem to kick a very great deal of ass.
