Melissa Auf Der Maur's new album for me. It's just really, really good.



Failing that, the How To Destroy Angels EP is great. The two songs they released before the full download are, in my opinion, the best ones, but the rest is still pretty goddamn awesome.


Not to mention the video is incredible.

The Gaslight Anthem's new album 'American Slang' just hit the shelves a week ago. Although I already had all the songs for a while, it's still nice to own it legitimately.

Lostprophets - The Betrayed.

Partly because it's the only album from this year I've bought and partly because it's sheer awesome.
When I listen to it I feel sorry for the Americans who don't have it yet. (is the record company dispute STILL going on?)

The obsidian conspiracy - Nevermore. Not as good as this godless endeavor, but nothing is so I'll deal.

Hammer of the North by Grand Magus. Nothing groundbreaking, but I've listened to it a lot and it's a solid album, I like it. It's comforting that amongst all the crap their label spews out, there's something nice and heavy and classic like Grand Magus.

Well, i bought the debut album to the norwegian band Kvelertak two days ago, and it is brilliant!
