I found this on many other forums, and I was anxious to see what other fellow escapists consider their favourite band/album. However, the point of the topic is not only to name your favourite band/album, but also to state your opinion about the band named above you in the thread!

Mine would be:

Dream Theater - Metropolis pt.2: Scenes from a Memory

I think that is my fav DT album, mainly because of Dance of Eternity.

My fav album right now is still "More hearts then brains" by Bike for Three! They are the collaboration of rapper Buck 65 and eletronica artist Greetings for Tuscan. I adore this albums because when I heard it I was going through a pretty rough time, and pretty much all the songs made sense to me. Also because anything Buck 65 does is amazing.

I highly recommend it to any music fan

And as of the Lamb of God post, I really like Wrath too, however, it lacks a major hit like 'Laid to Rest', 'Hourglass' or 'Redneck'. Maybe, just maybe, Set to Fail will become a great live song, but it shall never be able to compare to Laid to Rest!

Both great bands, but could you tell me what songs or even albums of Muse you like best?

Right now that would be Jimi Hendrix Live at Monterey.

Give me a couple of days, though, and that will have changed.

Favourite band is probably Muse,

but at the moment I am listening to:
Franz Ferdinand - No You Girls

Just because I was playing Franz on guitar hero and felt like listening to it : D

I think Absolution is probably my favourite so far, Hysteria being my favourite song. I love them all though, it's all great music to me.
I was a little concerned about the new album, The Resistance, after hearing United States Of Eurasia but now that I've heard Uprising, my faith has been restored and I've pre-ordered the very limited edition of the album.
