Favorite band of all time is Mindless Self Indulgence, has been for almost 10 years! Which is crazy thinking they've been around that long. Other than them, Tub Ring is an amazing band with a lot of variety. Screaming Mechanical Brain is some great synth metal. I saw a lot of Billy Talent love here, which is awesome. Blood Brothers are hit and miss with people, depending on if you like or can't stand the vocals (I love them). Other than those bands, I try to listen to everything that I can, from Rihanna to Cradle of Filth. It works out well because then I don't hate bands! (Except Fall Out Boy, sorry FOB fans)

It changes. It's usually of these 5.

  • Amon Amarth
    Avenged Sevenfold
    Bullet for my Valentine
    Atreyu
    Alestorm

and occasionally The Misfits.

I just noticed how many bands I like begin with A.
Alestorm is that Pirate Metal?
Yep, they're the most famous Pirate Metal band around. There's some others but I can't remember their names.
Thank you both, good sirs. Just checked out Alestorm...EPIC.

I can't decide which of my favourite bands that are best. Anyway:

U2
Led Zeppelin
The Who
Never understood the U2 thing, especially not alongside two great bands.

Any way for me at the moment would probably be the Killers and all time would probably be the Smiths. Yeh!
Yeah U2 is pretty pretentious, and without it there would be nothing for Coldplay to be a derivative of, and Chris Martin might actually have to come up with something halfway original which would crush his brain and we'd be rid of that man trying to hijack radiohead via U2. So I think it should go away just for that purpose.

Man the Killers are amazing. I hated them when they first came out but I've given them time and they're easily in my top 5 modern bands.

1000 internet points for you
Sweet. Can I redeem them for prizes/cash? Or maybe just a cookie?
With the economy the way it is, the best I can do is a gift certificate to Sizzler.
