Your favourite Christmas present ever?

A Furby, when they first came out. I like to think about who my mom had to kill to get one (because it was the newest, best thing and you couldn't find them anywhere), also the first thing it said when I opened the box was "I love you".

These days the creepy thing just gives me nightmares.


For gifts though that I still remember fondly, my PS2 and the first game I ever got for it was Jak and Daxter. My parents didn't even know that's what I wanted, they just knew me and were able to choose a system and a game I would enjoy.

I remember getting my PS2. It came with Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex, which I feel is unappreciated as a Crash game. Back before he got shit... :'(

I also remember when my sisters and I got push scooters, which we then proceeded to ride around the living room, ruining the wooden flooring.

Wrath of Cortex is a pretty solid Crash game, even though it felt kind of souless to me overall, it was still very fun and well designed.

But who am I kidding, I'm only posting so I don't win my thread competition with JoJo by too much

2 years after the PS3's release I asked my dad if he could get me MGS4 with a $300 slim PS3 for Christmas.
Well the 25th came around, and he pulled out a game shaped gift and I asked what it was. All he said was "Its a box with an old man's face on it!"
I was hype as hell, I ripped it open and found...

Spoiler: OLD SNAKE! YES OH YE- wait...

"Optimus is a pretty old man!" he said.
.......NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

And then he pulled out the PS3 with MGS4 from his closet.

Most amazing thing I have ever read.
For christmas I got a large box, inside that was another box which contained another box.
After like 14 boxes there was a game sized box with the game MAG in it, awesome game.
Shame the servers are shutting down.
