Steven Wright. His deadpan delivery of his surrealistic world never fails to make me smile.

The Big Yin is awesome, but my favourite is George Carlin.

"It's a small world, but i wouldn't want to paint it." classic!

I am also a big fan of Steven Lynch, Jon Stewart, Lewis Black, and shoot, can remember his name... (Ok not a huge fan, but he's hilarious) He's Hispanic and does an awesome "the movie announcer guy" voice.

Harry Hill is fantastic, something of an acquired taste but worth the effort.
Rich Hall is just wonderful. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmCP-RM1m8M

I have to say Steven Wright. I was almost in tears laughing when I saw my first video of him.

I have to say either Dave Chappelle or Eddie Izzard. I mostly love eddie for comedy around the world and Dave for American comedy.

other notables.
-Louis CK
-Chris Rock
-Robert Klein
-Lewis Black
-The amazing Jonathan
-Jon Stewart
-many others

George Carlin Category
-George Carlin
He gets his own category becasue he isn't my absolute favorite but he's darn close and more than just notable.

Seriously, at the guy a few places above me. Micheal McIntyre? For real? Next thing you'll tell me Lee Evans and Jack Whitehall are hilarious.

Best has gotta be between Reginald D Hunter, Paul Merton or Ryan Stiles.

There are so many fantastic comedians in the UK at the moment (I'm not familiar with many American comedians), but Dara O'Briain is an old favourite.

Absolute gold, which I'm sure has been posted on these forums a million times:

The bit from around 6 minutes about Metal Gear is particularly fantastic XD

Personal taste, dude. Personally, I love a bit of Michael McIntyre, even if he is a bit overblown. I'm never sure why it suddenly became cool to hate him once he became so popular... Not saying that's what you're doing, but people have become much more vocal in their dislike of him, rather than just ignoring him like they used to.

Stewart Lee because he can make it so dry and awkward all you can do is laugh.

(Ignore the random skit in the middle, this bit was from a TV show, but the stand up is good)

I'm really trying to find a good 5 minute snapshot of his stuff, but you have to watch his whole shows to really enjoy it xD

I suppose this might be a good one:

Can I pick two, because Armstrong and Miller are amazing
I'm interested to see how this goes down with all the non-British people. I have a feeling it might be that kind of 'British humour' that we love and the rest of the world seems to hate.
