You had me at 'dinosaur'. It's hard for me to pick a favorite, seeing as I was a huge fan of dinosaurs in my childhood. I had books, toys, movies... eventually I moved on, but I still have a soft spot for these scaly/feathery beasties.
For carnivores, I'm partial to the Deinonychus and their close cousins the Velociraptor, while for Herbivores, I have a soft spot for Apatosaurs and their cousins the Brontosaurus.
...Though I wish scientists would make up their damn minds which is which already, it's getting confusing!
