Your favourite DnD based game

Simple question; what's your favourite Dungeons and Dragons based game?

For me it's Neverwinter Nights 2, I know the camera sucks and the main campaign is rather uninspired but I love the amount of customisation DnD 3.5 gives you and the Crossroad Keep minigame/quest at the end makes up for the slow Act 1. Oh and Mask of the Betrayer has one of the best RPG stories of all time.

yeah Baldur's Gate II took things to a whole new level. I loved that game and how fleshed out all the characters felt. the range of locations and problems you had to solve was staggering.

Truly one of the greatest games I can remember.

EDIT: and it had bard's! a class I thought modern gaming has forgotten about entirely.

Sure why not? As long as it started off as a DnD game mods are as valid as anything else.

I'll go with Baldur's Gate 1! First RPG game i played when I was younger. So, I think it's more nostalgia and "first time seen"

Yes, I would call it my favorite DnD based game. MotB is perhaps my favorite RPG of all time.

Baldur's Gate series without a doubt.

Sofar tho, I did get into Planescape Torment a while back and apart from some dodgy UI choices that is one sweet game.

Still haven't gotten around to playing the 2nd one, but the first NWN was very good. should pick up that 2nd one here someday.

I just recently got into it but I am liking NWN2. First one was pretty good too.
