Game, this gen (Legend of Zelda: TP)
Film (Star Wars Original Trilogy)
Director (Uwe--JK, I don't know directors that well)
Cartoon (Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog [No, I don't care what Doug Walker thinks of it!])
Anime (Only one I've seen a whole season of is Excel Saga)

Sitcom (Don't watch 'em)
Drama/soap (Don't watch these either)
Book/book series (F*** it, Lord of the Rings)

Comic book/graphic novel (Watchmen)
Song, all-time (Do video game OSTs count?)

Album (Project Chaos)
Band (Duane and BrandO)

And now some of my own:

British comedy series (Monty Python)
...That's as many as I thought I needed to add on.

I'll bite:

Game, pre-this gen: Deus Ex.

Game, this gen: Hard to say, but I am partial to Condemned: Criminal Origins or maybe Fallout 3.

Film: Trainspotting, but narrowing this down is really tough.

Director: Also hard to say since I am a film snob and like many different kinds of films, but a few I am fond of: David Cronenberg, Martin Scorsese (though he has lost his edge lately), Vincenzo Natali, Danny Boyle, Park Chan-Wook, Brad Anderson, Takashi Miike, Terry Gilliam, and Ridley Scott (who really needs to get back to making sci fi and stop working with that bland, talentless twit Russell Crowe), amongst many others who I probably forgot about.

Cartoon: Futurama.

Anime: Don't watch any. The only ones I remember from friends making me watch them back in the day are the ones where some sexually repressed guy ends up boarding with a bunch of horny, crazy women who beat his miserable ass all day long.

Sci-fi show: Also don't watch any really, so probably one of the fifty-thousand Star Trek series' they made.

Sitcom: It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia now and maybe All in the Family or M.A.S.H. as far as older ones go.

Drama/soap: The Wire, easily. The series blows everything I've ever seen on TV right out of the water.

Book/book series: Fifth Business by Robertson Davies.

Author: Philip K. Dick, but there are scores of others.

Comic book/graphic novel: Watchmen was amazing, as were Maus I and II and Superman: Red Son.

Song, all-time: Pain by Four Star Mary.

Song, right now: I Wish by Skee-Lo.

Album: All Day by Girl Talk.

Band: VAST (with Zero 7 and The Living End coming in a close second).

Yeah. My tastes are eclectic and I am an admitted media snob. It happens.
