High-Priest Dagra Dai. Why does he have to be so bloody hard?

He's not much of a villain though, so I'll have to go with the final boss of Castle Crashers. Think of what kind of criminal mastermind had to organise and contact as many other evil kings as him - all to get a crystal that, in the end, turned him into a frickin' spider monster.

That's just evil for evil's sake, really. I mean, who really wants to be a spider monster. It's not all it's cracked up to be.

Mecha Hitler from the end of Wolfenstein 3D. From back when games had a sense of humour. A very weird sense of humour.

Blackheart the Inciter. I love the way he just stood there and laughed as I ended up killing my own friends. Was best while playing my resto shaman. I would kill my party and then get to fight him alone with my massive healing powers. Yay!

GLaDOS, Andrew Ryan, and Scolar Visari (and, to a lesser extent, Colonel Radec). Also, if there were a Stargate game that involved Ba'al, he'd be my favorite videogame villain cause Ba'al is fucking awesome.

Avoiding cliched villains, such as Sephiroth, I think I'll vote for Isador Akios, the traitorous Librarian from Dawn of War's Campaign. His charisma, powers and pure malevolence, not to mention the fact that he's one of Humanity's finest warriors and even he falls to the corruption of Chaos, all make him one of my favourite villains.

Why can't we use the "search" button?

anyway, while GLADOS takes the "recent" villain prize, (and in retrospect the "weighted companion cube" takes prize as the best support character and/or PC character in a game *smirk*), I think if I view all villains I would have to go with:
Melissa Pearce

Now do you know who this is? .....
*Jepoardy Music*...

It's the main Villain from the original "Parasite Eve".

Prophet of Truth. He influenced several alien species that humans were inferior and nearly killed all life in the galaxy.

One I definitely wanna give props to is H.R Malone, the media mogul warlord from Urban Strike. He's like a goddamn 24 villain but supernova-level badass.
He kills his own son with a carbomb to kill a mole in his organisation, turns Mexico into a terrorist training camp, reopens Alcatraz as a personal prison for enemies, builds a goddamn satellite laser to blow up the World Trade Center and plan to destroy New York with it, as well as Las Vegas which he turned into a demilitarized strip and personal base of operations. And he didn't go quietly, oh no. He was gonna blow up your goddamn copter with you in it as well.
I mean as far as villains went on the SNES outside of RPGs, he was pretty badass.

What no love for Anubis? he was seriously one fucked up bad guy, and had an army of Kull warriors which = awesome. Although I have to admire Ba'al for being incredibly creative and smart.
