Faves are the Fennekin, Froakie, Helioptile, Pumkaboo, Skiddo, Fletchling, and Espurr lines since I used them. I'm sure once I finish training up some of the gen 6 Pokemon I thought I would be using during my play throughs but didn't, like Noibat, Sylveon, Pancham, Floette, Goomy, Bergmite, Tyrunt, Amoura, Litleo, Inkay, Honedge and Skrelp, I'll add those lines as well.

Though they're all adorable, least faves would be Furfrou, Carbink, Dedenne, and Klefki, if only just because they don't evolve, but it's not like that's set in stone.

Slurpuff and Diggersby.
I didn't care much for Slurpuff until I saw that it was fat and jiggly. I tend to like fat or big bodied looking pokemon (people calling Quilladin fat is what endeared me to him.) so I decided to breed a shiny one since I didn't quite like it's normal color scheme. I succeeded and named it Giga Puddi!

My other favorite is Diggersby AKA the most manly pokemon in Gen 6 and 3rd place for the pokemon I am most like. He looks so fat and happy and it seems lazy enough for me to hang out with. Tis unfortunate that so many people confuse it's rugged handsomeness for ugliness

Steel/Fairy based on a futakuchi-onna? Too girly for you? Hahaha
Nah, not the retconed Fairies, the brand new Gen 6 ones. All but Xenernas are pink and shit, and I can't stand it. And you know who uses Fairy types? Fairy Tale Girls, and trainers that wear frilly flowy shit. And what is the Fairy type gym? A FUCKING DOLLHOUSE!

... sorry, this 'girls can only like overly girly and pink shit' thing really pisses me off.

Mega Mawile, I finally got a chance to use a Mawile while playing through the game, normally they are end game catches (I skipped gen 3). As for favorite for this gen then probably the poison/dragon Dragalge, poison type is on the rise.

Least favorite would probablt be armitess or what ever it is. Maybe bunelby or the cake looking one. That brinacle thing really annoyed me when I first encountered it.

Well yeah but there are already plenty of non-generically girly designs available? So I still don't get the complaint that they're too girly. Like, there are female trainers that use whatever the hell they feel like so it's not like nintendo has pigeonholed them into using only fairies.

Like, I get what you're saying but girly here isn't synonymous with weak or helpless. Fairies are strong, like, they're only weak to two types (poison and steel) and resist three of the most popular offensive types. I find that refreshing. Like, you don't have to use the shonen pokemon you can build a shojo team and still win. It's not saying "Girls can only like pink things" it's saying "Liking pink things doesn't make you inferior to the people who don't"

Though it's not a new Pokemon, my favorite fairy (after Xerneas, that is) was probably Gardevoir. Though I wish I could find a shiny one. That shade of green is...bleh.

Gogoat is pretty cool, and plenty powerful, but the award for best troll pokemon of the new generation goes to Klefki. I love it when game freak makes a pokemon that everyone else seems to hate, and none of them are as controversy inducing as Klefki. Add on a sweet type matchup like Steel-Fairy and you've got yourself a versatile pokemon right there.
Not to mention that, along with it's great typing, it also has the Prankster ability and access to spikes which makes it a very good/annoying lead for competitive pokemon. It's actually going on my Sandstorm team even though I hate it's design.

For me, I tend to have two sets of favorites. One favorite for design and the other favorite for competitive use. sometimes they overlap, but they usually don't.

Design: Malamar. I love everything about it. From the way it evolves (holding the 3ds upside down when it levels up) to it's insane ability to make sweeper set ups hurt themselves lol.

Competitively: Aegislash. His ability is cool, he's a spinblocker, he's a counter to fairy types, and he can be defensive or offensive physical sweeper. I see him getting a lot of use out of me.

Most hated: Diggersby. I hate Klefki's design, but he's actually useful competitively. Diggersby, however, is horrendously ugly and seems to be relatively useless overall. He has hands on his ears FFS.

This gen had alot of real winners in my book. I'm tempted to say "pretty much all of them", but if I had to pick favorites, I'd go with:

Chesnaught
Aegislash
Heliolisk
Tyrantrum
Goomy line
Trevenant

And, of course:

As for ones I don't like... well, it's pretty much just Slurpuff and Aromatisse. God, those guys suck. Oh, and Diggersby too.

And now, my list of Pokemon that alot of people don't seem to like, but I think are cool:

Klefki
Binacle line
Dedenne (not the worst Pikachu clone by a long shot)

Dragonbums

It's not tood bad of an unobtainable goal.

Pokeradar has made a triumphant return, and since you can find Ralts in the wild, a bit of dedication to learning the techniques of Pokemon chaining, and you should find yourself with a shiny ralts.

Inkay is adorable. As are Phantump and Helioptile.
And I like Pancham and it's evolution for giving me a Dark/Fighting Pokemon.
... I named mine Simon as a result for playing the newest Ace Attorney simultaneously.

But the game also has a lot of female trainers with different types of Pokemon.

I took the fairies to be more creepy than anything. The gym leader looks like an alien and they mention several times the fairy-type is mysterious and other-worldly.

I really hate the 'girls only like pink'-trope A LOT, but I don't think it's a problem in this case.

I find the worst design (even though I think it's cool) is Klefki... I mean, a keychain.... really...?

The pokemon I don't understand the most is Pumkaboo... or however it's spelt.... ugh, horrible... Same with Trevant... Wasn't Sudowoodo meant to be a tree!?
klefki is actually a pretty interesting pokemon, it's based on the japanese myth that an item gains a soul if it's survived for 1000 years, plus the keys aren't part of it's body, it's ones that it's stolen from people, the "ring" is actually two arms, you just don't see the divide between the two unless it's fainting (plus IT MURDERS DRAGONS)

sudowoodo is a MIMIC of a tree, it's only pretending, as a fun little nod to that, if you get a horde of trevenants, there is a chance for one to be a sudowoodo :p

I really like Aegislash and Talonflame, despite how terrible of a name the latter was given. Pangoro's cool too. Skrelp and Dragalge. Clawitzer's pretty neato. Noivern and Tyrantrum of course. This was actually a pretty good gen design-wise, honestly.

As for my least favorite... probably gonna agree with Swirlix/Slurpuff and the Goomy line. They're just dumb. Also Diggersby.

Klefki is a silly design, although it's not the first and it won't be the last. Also apparently it's actually a pretty good Pokémon.

Actually, I think Sudowoodo just looks like a tree, whereas Trevenant is an actual-facts tree possessed by a ghost.

Yes, It's not supposed to be a Tree. His name is from "Pseudo" and "Wood" and it's a Rock Pokemon.

I like a lot of the new Pokemon to be honest. I guess it helps that there are a lot less of them this generation. I think all of them are unique at the very least.

To list my favorites:
Kennekin (their evolutionary line are growing on me)
Inkay
Dragalge (I like leafy sea dragons)
Pumpkaboo
Yveltal
Goomy
Gogoat/Skiddo
Heliolisk
Hawlucha

If I were to pick an absolute favorite I would say Hawlucha.

Some I don't care for at all:
Zygrade
Malamar
Aromatisse
Greninja (his anatomy seriously bothers me, I can't stand his head)

My absolute least favorite is Barbaracle, while a cool idea, is just too hideous for me to like him. It doesn't help that barnacles are ugly critters anyway.

I'm about half way through the game, so far my favourites are;
Frogadier, whose design I prefer to Greninja.
Fletchinder, who again, I think looks better than it's evolution.
Inkay & Malamar, in addition to looking good and having an interesting typing, the Contrary ability and the move Topsy-Turvey are perfect for mischief.
Aegislash - Goes without saying.
Helioptile, when I first saw the design I thought "That looks stupid." Then I caught one, subbed it into my team as a handy electric type, and fell in love with it. Something about rubbing its little head in pokemon-amie. And Bulldoze + Electrify (changes the opponent's type to Electric) = Bwahahaha

Least favourites are harder to decide on, there aren't any a really dislike, although I don't like the look of Carbink or Swirlix, and I don't care about Furfrou and its pointless haircuts.

In terms of mega-evolutions, Gyarados, Alakazam and Pinsir are the most awesome looking. Fact.

This majestic beast right here is by far my favourite

Seriously, I just love my Aurorus so much.

As for least favourite, Klefki takes the cake easily.

I actually really like Swirlix, just by virtue of how derpy it looks.
As for my least favourite, I'm not a big fan of Klefki or Chespin, because I just don't like their designs.

Least favourite: Diggersby, Aromatisse, Slurpuff, Binacle & Barbacle, Hawlucha,

Favourites: Vivillon, Gogoat, Meowstic, Dragalgae, Amaura, Sylpheon, Dedenne, Carbink, Goodra, Klefki, Xerneas

Everything in between I'm pretty cool with, and then of course there's my all time favourite, perfect Pokemon ever:

The most adorable Pokemon *3* When I feed her she has a happy face and she leans to the side when I do and ahhhhhh
Seriously she looks like my pet cat sat on a fat little pumpkin, so cute.
