Your favourite mode of transportation in a game?

Well, I've been playing Just Cause 2 quite a bit recently and I quite enjoy paragliding my way around Panau. There are various ways to travel round in games (obviously this applies more to open-world games) that I've decided to pose the question.

With there being so many ways in games getting from Point A to Point B, what is YOUR favourite way of travelling around?

PS: I decided against a poll, because of the possible variety of options, just in case.

Also, due to it being the method of transport I've been using the most, on the game I've been playing the most recently, I pick paragliding.

Most of the people are going to say fast-travel. It's a given, really.

But if I had to pick something, I like the UFO from The Destroy All Humans games.

ARMA 2's GLITCHY VEHICLES!!!


Believe me.... ride a motorcyle into a wall, and 9 times outta ten you will rocket up into the sky, and if you land in the sea your bike will plunge down and if you eject you will randomly be standing up in midair as you fall...

The bungie jump buggie in Jak 3. It was a terrible car that easily got destroyed and barely had anything in the way of fire power but dang if it did one thing well it was bouncing up and down. I would spend a fair amount of time getting to the highest point in a level and just bouncing off it and see where I ended up. I would bounce all through the terrain it was really too much fun.

I always liked the speeder bikes in BF2. It was hilarious doing strafing runs with those things, and you could pull off some insane jumps at Kashyyk

Fast-travel's a must. Even in games like Spider-man, Prototype, or Just Cause 2, where getting around is pretty fun, sometimes I just want to get where I'm going right away.

The hook/chute method of travel in JC2 is a lot of fun, but it gets tiresome real fast if you have a long way to go.

I enjoy horseback, whether it be the American Southwest in Red Dead Redemption or the forests of Cyrodiil in Oblivion.
