Too man to choose. Err... I'll take Equilibrium for now. Why? You know Gun Kata? Well, I'll show you, *****!
The fighting scenes in this film are really great plus it has a fantastic story. No complete twist or anything, but a good mixture of most classic Sci-Fi. Brave New World, 1984, Fahrenheit 451, ...

Michael Bay's The Rock - an incredible, mindblowingly awesome action flick that has some of the best music I've heard so far and quite magnificent writing for an action movie.
"Your best? Losers always whine about their best. Winners go home and fuck the prom queen!"
Best. Connery quote. ever.

Vanilla Sky.

I know...I know, believe me I get enough ridicule for this.

But truly the movie is a masterpiece of film making, it's story is paced perfectly, every reveal happens right when it should, and after the film is over it leaves room for conversation.

Second Favorite : The Fifth Element. No explanation needed.

12 monkeys for being interesting, imaginitive and having THE best acting I have seen. My favorite scene is when Cole is in the car and he hears music and he lights up and looks as if he is going to cry. All of that motion evoked by a single song because he hadn't heard any since he was a child.

Also Gladiator for being Awesome.

Aliens!

It's probably the pinnacle of entertainment. It manages to be scary, actiony, shouty and really well directed with special effects that still hold up after 25 years and a bitchin cast.

It's just great fun, and one of those films you can watch again and again.
god damn, ninja'd by the second post, game over man, game over.
can i just add it also has a genunily gripping story line and awesome antagonists

Spirited Away and Where the wild things are - They are both beautiful, subtle, atmospheric, imaginative, symbolic, captivating and original. They are some of the few movies that I consider art.
WTWA is an amazing film. Truly art.

Yeah, one of the more famous ones.
Although my favorite would be "Maybe I'm losing my sex appeal." or "Personally, I think you're a fucking idiot."

1.R-point - not in english however I liked the triggers and twists that were placed and how it easily fooled the viewer (the first time) it's also an aright horror

2.Day Of The Dead - I like the references and the characters as well as the cast, this was the first Zombie film I ever saw makes this a classic for me

3.Night Of The Living Dead 1990 re-make - this is not because it's in colour, not I don't like the original but the characters seems more developed and it seemed to be a better ending

4.The Punisher 2004 re-make - I felt that Frank Castle was more of a human in this.
