Your favourite PC games?

Before i get mildly scorched, I know there are alot of 'best games ever' threads and similar, but i haven't really seen many just on PC games (though i'm sure i'd find a couple if i wasn't lazy enough to use the search button). But anyway, the reason i ask is because i wanted to see if there's any good PC games i've missed or neglected. Also, please don't turn this (probably shortlived) thread into a console vs PC contest, that's not the intention. So, what are your favourite PC games? (either of all time or just new favourites). I would have to say... DEUS EX!!! (The conspiracy doesn't count). Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl had quite a few flaws, but was still a great game. And of course, Operation Flashpoint... One of the few games i can actually play hundreds of times over and still enjoy.

One of the best RTSes ever, a bajillion Koreans wouldn't disagree.

Any of the RTSes Relic made basically.
Because they're just good at RTSes for some reason.

Ah, brings back memories of Diablo 2, playing through enelessly fun levels of monster killing, item collecting and levelling up. It might shock you to find that i've never actually played Starcraft, so i should probably get on that, though i'm not particularly found of RTS's. I'm kinda glad i never played HL2 on console, it's just the sort of game that should be played on pc... (nothing against consoles though).

DOW2. i tried the demo. it was pretty good, but compared to the older ones, it was dissapointing. it also went into a new genre that wasnt RTS: Action RPG. no RTS has boss battles with health meters and no buildings.

Heroes of Might and Magic series. the only inhabitant of Perfection city.

Age of Mythology

Titan Quest.

WoW.

TF2.

CSS.

HL2.

COD4 and WAW.

Warhammer: Mark of Chaos.

Warcraft 3.

and yes, im aware that several of those games are on consoles too.

you arent missing anything on Starcraft. i played each race once, then it became boring. especially because the AI rushes you after 5 minutes.

Titan Quest is so awesome. i love it. the story, the bosses, the envirouments. all awesome. its also the only good mythology-based game beside Age of Mythology.

If you can't handle rushes you're not fit for RTSes. Not saying that you can't or anything, but if you mean that as in "OMG I WUZ RUSHED B4 I WUZ REDDEH" as opposed to "They just spam units at me after 5 minutes of game time..." then what I just said stands.

Agreed Halflife/TF2 should have been exclusive.

RTSs and MMOs are all we really have left as PC exclusives.
This should be FPSs aswell but apparently alot of people can cope with controllers.

how can you call yourself a blizzard fanboy without thinking warcraft 3 was/is a great game.

Oh yeah, thought i'd add a couple (to my own thread, lol). Anachronox, Freelancer, Giant's Citizen Kabuto, Commando's series. Whilst these games aren't my favourite of all time, they're still pretty good games.
