Flareon.

Well aware of his massive suck factor.

Flare Blitz and Earthquake would make him better. But noooooooooooooo...Game Freak is all: Fuck you!
Now at least you can have Fire Fang,
WHOOOOOOOOO. Base 65 power. The best use I can get out of Flareon is to Baton Pass a few Dragon Dance's onto it.
I can't tell, Sarcasm?
Oh, yes. Sarcasm.

I do more damage with Flamethrower than I do with Fire Fang.

Superpower, from a move tutor, is as good as it gets for ol' Flareon.

It has changed a few times as the gen went on. Originally it was Scyther back in Red, then when I got Silver and discovered that Scyther could evolve into the new red metal Scizor it became my new favourite. Then 3rd gen happened and Metagross came around and took the top spot, by force. He's remained my favourite since then.

(#2 fav is Milotic and #3 is Vaporeon if anyone wanted to know)

Scyther.

I always have to have one trained up as a lightning-fast glass cannon that shreds anything weak to it.

That and it's a mutant mantis with scythe blades for arms.

Arcanine, Charizard, Manectric, Vaporeon, Ninetails and Suicune.
I have a penchant for fire types, plus Manectric is the most badass electric type. My first game was Crystal, so I have a special place on my heart for Suicune.

Really looking forward to Black/White. The green lizard starter's final evolution looks sweet.

Scyther. I remember reading about all the pokemon when red and blue were first coming out, saw a picture of Scyther, and said I AM GETTING RED VERSION.

Ninetails is bitchin too, though.

130 base attack. With the right nature, EVs, and IVs he can achieve max attack with 2 swords dances.
It can be really nasty if you let it live for too long.
Also, he's a bear. And bears are awesome.

Articuno - My fav since i used her to beat the crap out of the Elite four to get money in Red.

Rayquaza - My fav since it proved to be even more effective than Articuno at this task (no need for alternative Pokemon, Outrage decimates all)

Scizor - Scyther was a quick fav in the original (so cool), but once i saw the evolution in the second gen, my admiration was quickly redirected (how could he be even cooler?)

Magneton - Has been an effective teammate since Red, and since the intro of double types (along with Steel as a new type), it has been even more effective. Besides, it's a collection of magnets, with robot-eyes.

Aggron - Cool, though, reliable, and immensely flexible. I was able to replace Magneton (I beleive it wasn't readily available in Sapphire. Or not early enough, at least), by simply using a Thunderbolt TM.

Gallade - I have not actually played with this one yet, but if he plays anything like Blaziken (Which is what he seems to do, just replace Fire/Fighting with Psychic/Fighting), then he will be an effective team member. I tend to have find trouble finding a Psychic Pokemon i actually like the looks of and enjoy playing with, but Gallade seems to fix both those problems (He definitely looks cool).

It would be my purely "I like how they look and play" team, without thinking of how well they complement each other (Now that i look at them, they seem to cover each others weaknesses and provide enough firepower to be an effective team. Hmmm...I will look into this).
