Homeworld:Cataclysm.
YES. Thank you, you ninja :p

Having played and thoroughly enjoyed the entire Homeworld series Cataclysm was by far my favourite, taking everything that made the original great and just making it better and if I were going to replay a Homeworld game anytime soon it would be that one.

Halo wars. It was fun with a decent storyline and vaguely challenging at times.
To tell the truth I haven't played any other campaigns in RTS games but Halo Wars is fun.

I'm including both RTS and RTT games here, if you care to make the distinction. So what's your favourite campaign in one of these such games?

I just finished the World In Conflict campaign (including the expansion, which plays out as part of the same campaign) for the first time, and I must say that it was a hell of a lot of fun the whole way through. You'd be hard pressed finding a better looking or more action-packed campaign in an RTS game. The reinforcements system and at times abundance of air support are a little odd at first, but they serve their purpose, which is to keep the game as entertaining as possible. It even had a pretty good story going and solid voice acting. It's definitely moved up near the top of my list.

But I'm sure you'll try to tell me that there are bigger/better/prettier campaigns going around. So let me know what your favourites are.
does shining force on sega genesis count? cuz if so that times infinity. love that series!!

Age of Empires II, Barbarossa's campaign.
I loved the twist at the end. "But I am an old man now, what harm could I possibly do?"

I always thought the Mongol campaign was the best myself, great blend of mythological story-telling and actual history.
