Bioshock's Fort Frolic and it's moving statues creeped the hell out of me. And there was a point near the start when you are in the surgery place (the name escape me) and you are wading through a room filled water. You see the shadow of a splicer, slowly cutting this man to ribbons. The lights flash out and the shadow is gone. You advance further through the water and the lights flash out again. When they turn on a body floats down the water. You make it to the end but you don't see him so you turn to leave and then he jumps out of a door to the side. I think that one room took me about 15 minuets to complete.

I can't believe noone has mentioned it. The Haunted Mansion in Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. It's the only time I've ever been scared playing a game or watching a movie. Fallout 3? Hell no. Bioshock? Not a chance. System Shock 2? A tiny bit unnerved perhaps. But the Haunted Mansion was scary as hell, I died once when I panicked and didn't know up from down.

I'm probably gonna get a ear full from this but I havn't played many scary games...

I thought the Blood Stone Demon door in Fable II freaked me out. The first time I saw it I was like "SWEET! A NICE NEW HOUSE" then when I stepped in in drastically changed from happy familys to a torture chamber. And there was that sudden noise, and I had my volume on MAX.

Also the elevator part of Boishock when you go in at the beggining and almost get killed by that thingy (Sorry, I don't know their names or any other scary parts because I only played the beggining :S)

Bioshock. I came in while my dad was playing it, there was a shotgun lieing in the middle of the room, he picked it up, the lights cut out, and the crazy people popped out from every direction, and you could only see when you fired the shotgun. That part was pretty scary. I left him be and carried on with the important business of eating ice-cream.

Crikey I forgot about that. I felt a bit quesy for a few minutes when that happened. It holds a bit more weight with me that the bioshock one as I was the one playing fable when that happened.
