CHAVS

Gotta love em ;D Nowhere else in the world does chav quite like we do
Ours are definitely more... stabby, than anywhere else I know of.

I love our comedy the most. We undoubtedly have the best sitcoms and stand up comedians of anywhere on earth, and the people who disagree just haven't watched Black Books, Spaced and Ross Noble live enough.

Now. This may seem a bit of a weird question, especially comming from someone who is English too as it may seem quite vain, but I recently realised that quite alot of people, many of whom are American, freaking love the UK.

For instance, my Spanish friend's favourite thing about the UK, is that we can all take a joke. Which I'd have to agree with.

It can be anything, from accents to brown coloured beverages.

Oh, and just to throw this out there: Don't flame.
I love the healthcare system !
I love Tesco !
I love Full door to door GPS navigation !
I Love the conviencey of the UK !

But there is a imense list on how many things i hate about the UK
e.g. the weather, The accents, The Chavs.

oh and i'm from UK but at the same time i;m supposed to be from 3 other countries

overall to me UK is the place to live for a convient life

Haha, I live in North Yorkshire now and I'm going to be fixing up my bike over summer, so when I come back here to university next year I can try that out, thanks :)
Hooray! The more people on bikes the better.

You might want to check out Singletraction [http://www.singletraction.org.uk/projects.php?page=Stainburn] for places to ride, or the forestry commision website.

I had the good fortune to live in London for a couple of years, and compared to my home in America, particularly the "old" parts of America (even though old to America is nothing compared to Britain) the roads and highways in Britain are wonderful. Everything is so clearly marked, and you always know where you're supposed to be going. Sure beats driving in Boston.

I like the face that your country has created a list of people who cannot enter the UK. That is a good thing to have. Also, the people in the UK seems to be very cultured and respectful of everyone else.
The more intelligent of us are, yes. But you wouldn't believe the amount of people who seem so intelligent and sensible that'll comment about "bloody pakis". Ah, god, there's very few phrases that can make me cringe, and that's one of them.
Excuse my stupidity but what is a Pakis? I live in the usa.
Its better to not know, "Paki" is a racial slur used by intollerent and frightened morons against people from Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, etc. If you are ever here in Britain and you hear someone start a sentence with "I am not racist, but..." just zone out and stop listening, its better not to enable these people... remove their crowd, remove their voice, remove their ingnorance.
I see. That is a shame there are assholes in such a lovely and cultured country. I try to be cultured but in America if you are smart you are an outcast.

Yeah, they mostly support a party called the BNP and I have just found out that they have got an MEP in Yorkshire... If they get into power dont be surprised if the next "Hitler" comes from Britain, I am going to join a revolution.

you know when someone says "the british accent", they're clearly not british.

what i love about britian is that it is extremely secular. climate is good and the people aren't up their own arses most of the time.

the best thing though, is our lack of patriotism!

They are Xenophobic. I don't think they will round up and kill Middle Eastern people in the UK like Hitler did to the Jewish people. We have Xenophobes like that here in America as well.

Also, I know the royal family are figureheads and that the Prime Minister runs the UK but do the royal family have any influence on the decisions the Prime Minister makes?

I love the fact that the British are generally pretty rude, which gives you in turn a thick skin if you live there. For example you can go into the local shop and buy something without exchanging a single word with the cashier, which gets things done a lot quicker.
Went to Austraillia in December, it's a shocking place. I walk into a shop to buy some water and the cashier acts like they want to know my life story. My older brother who is 25 years old and has a huge beard was so startled by a guy working at a liquor store there, the guy wouldn't serve him until he provided some ID because he figured he was so nervous he couldn't be over 18.

Won't the BNP see this documentary and try to kill the guy? Also, with the tapes can't the British police place Nick Griffin and the others under investigation until they find evidence?

Why do they hate Middle Eastern people? For exactly what reason? They are no better than the KKK.

Grrr.. Ashley!

Who do you support anyway?
Glasgow Rangers, SPL champions:)
*cough*secterian bastards*cough*
Yes, sectarianism is a bad thing about Rangers.
Having little chance of going back up to the Premier League any time soon is a bad thing about Newcastle.
On topic: Nice people, and quite nice countryside.
