Personally, I'm a fan of "LEEEROY... NNNNNJEEEEEEEENKIIIIIIINS" myself, but I'm also prone to Rick Rolling and the occassional "U Mad bro?" online

I enjoy these as well, and I will add "Trololol" as well. Those are good natured "trolls", in my opinion, which I guess can't really be considered a troll as much as a troll meme.

True trolling, in my definition, is acting like an asshole for the sake of pissing people off, which I don't condone nor participate in.

Well, on Xbox Live it doesn't take a lot to piss off a person at all. My friend and I tend to go into lobbies and have conversations and if somebody comments on it I just respond with, "THIS DOESN'T CONCERN YOU, PABLO."

One of three things has happened after that point:
They get all pissed off that I told them off.
They get all pissed off that I called them Pablo, and then get all racist on me.
They shrug it off and go about their business.

I tend to troll the former two and the commend the latter.

Pretty much all that comes out of playing Call of Duty: Black Ops with friends these days is trolling little kids on search and destroy.

I think generally doing worse than everyone else on the team and they saying "WHERE'S MY SUPPORT!? YOUR'RE ALL FUCKING NOOBS!!!11!1" is pretty much a go to for trolling.

Well, this wasn't for any game, but I saw a troll comment that made me burst out laughing once. Some guy posted a really dumb comic he drew, but in his description he said he was really proud of it. Someone replied with "I've circled the funny part", and posted a link to a picture of what was supposedly the guy's comic with a circle drawn on it. However when I clicked the picture and saw the guy's comic, there wasn't any circle on it. So basically it was a very elaborate, but hilarious way of saying "There's nothing funny about your comic"

I tend not to troll as much in mmorpgs but I am playing an elf supremacist in LOTRO. I talk about the dwarven conspiracy and how its the dwarves' fault that Sauron is active again. Bonus points if you can guess the racist term I use for dwarves.
Hilariously enough, my best friends on that server tend to be dwarves- a few got the joke and play along, calling me a sissy tree-hugging elf.

OT: singing always gets them. Or communicate solely through the Duke Nukem soundboard. But my favorite is definitely communicating half in English and half in German/Spanish then claiming I don't speak English.

Going on Minecraft servers when bored (I love minecraft, btw) and trolling the hell out of them.
You know, stuff like, "holy crap tehse grafics are so BAD! how can you play this cod ftw" (misspelling on purpose)
I love seeing their reactions. Best one I've seen, "Meh, doesn't matter if you like it or not, to play online, you had to pay money anyways."

It gets hard for me, because people seem genuinely nice on Minecraft, and I really want to play on some servers and not get banned. I use it more as a test, to see how smart people are on there servers.

Mages should also be out since all magic is demonic in the christian tradition. Anything other than Paladins, Warriors and light priests should be banned from your troll guild. Just thought that I might help by providing a little help.

I left mages out on purpouse for that exact reason. It also included more spelling mistakes in the macro, whatever you can do to get negative responses from people.

I play on a no-holds-bared griefing minecraft server (sooo coool) rping as Vriska Serket. After killing someone, instead of stealing their loot, I throw it into a lava pit so they can never get it back. Then I burn down a nearby forest to crash the server so that I can log back on the moment it reboots and abscond the hell out of there. Then I taunt my victim from over 11000 blocks. Thats actually pretty tame for the server, though. But thats the only place I troll.

I like it when people make alts on WoW just to abuse me. If they proceed to call me a noob or something, I inform them of my support, and tell them that I'm there for them when bad things happen.

Gmod is good for trolling also.

Or just setting up a prop on a hydraulic that kills anyone that spawns, then proceeding to pick up the money they drop, or throwing bathtubs at people, or just generally shooting the shit out of everyone. Sometimes it gets mean, but it's still fun.
