Simple question, what's your favourite sport, and why?

For me, Rugby, or swimming, is that a sport?

Rugby, because i like the team spirit, Swimming because water is calm and soothing.

So, yeah, favourite sport?

NASCAR. Race is on in a little bit.

(American Football - If your career involves playing a game, don't ***** about your pension.)

Well I'm a threefold provicial champion in archery, so I guess that's my favourite. Also I love running, swimming and fitness / bodybuilding, but not in a competitive way. Watching other people sport on TV however is not my thing, never has been and probably never will be.

To play: Soccer. Lots of fun.

To watch: Baseball. I like the intricacies of the game.

Basketball for me, why because its enjoyable to watch and I play basketball IRL but not for a college sadly. Sadly I also have horrible luck and my favorite teams are always bad or incredibly average (damn you new york knicks) so I don't usually watch sports as often as id like.

Basketball forever and ever.
Anything short of NBA-level basketball i find ridiculous.
(Anything as in everything besides the NBA and I)

I hear becoming a Lakers/Boston/Chicago fan might help with that issue.

Well, my favourite sport is basketball, but watching it is pretty boring. Football (soccer) in the other hand is very exciting and you can get some nice parties going with the excuse of a match.

(I'm euro btw, local basketball is pretty boring... NBA is quite fun tho)

Skateboarding, because it presents something that needs effort to learn and show precision in foot movements

Hockey, take a bunch of large men put blades on their feet give them large sticks and tell to hit each other and maybe score a goal if it's convenient. Now if only my city's team didn't suck

Couldnt you say that about any sport (at least pro team sport, since they're all really just games).

I watched it once and didnt get it (though, admittedly I was half way though the match when I tuned in). Then I saw Arena Football, and suddenly it made sense to me.

OT: Hockey for team, Fencing for personal.

I dont know why I love Hockey. I guess cause it has just hte right level of action vs time that yu dont see in American Football or soccer or rugby. With hockey, its all spaced throughout the game and flows well. Plus I'm pretty good at it.

Fencing just because I like it. There's a lot of beauty in it though, and if you can watch a real good fencing match it can be poetry in motion. Plus its a great exercise technique and relaxation.

My favorite sports are; archery because it just is, badminton, and volleyball, because they are less about strength which i lack and more about strategy, and player interactions. I like swimming but only in the ocean with perfect weather and clear water. I pursue less, and less od archery due to my eye sight problems even with glasses.

I play football, so that's gotta be one favourite.

I also like almost every form of motorsport. I could spend a whole sunday just watching all sorts of vehicles race each other.
