Your First album

What was the first album you ever brought and when did you last listen to it? Also do you like that band/genre or have your tastes changed since?

For me it was Awake my dream theater probably listened to it a few weeks ago. I still like the band and listen to lots of other prog metal.

I think it was Ultra Beatdown by Dragonforce. Still love them. Especially Heroes of Our Time.

First album I ever paid for...um....

I think it was Does This Look Infected by Sum 41. It' funny; that album was one of the first ones I'd heard that was full of good songs. I grew up in the 90's and most albums had the one or two hits from the star and 9 songs of crappy filler space.

I haven't listened to it in years though.

Album in general, it probably falls into one of my random Beatles albums. Ones I actually bought on the other hand, my first would probably be Swagger by Flogging Molly.

No Blue Thing or Deep Breakfast by (I think) Ray Lynch. It was this kind of weird new age stuff, that's fairly distinct. I wonder if they're available on CD, I lost the tapes years ago.

I have no clue,my brother buys the albums,but I do enjoy listening to them.I think his first was a gorrilaz,I know it was one of the first.

The first CD I ever bought was Dookie by Green Day, when it first came out. I had a bunch of tapes/CDs that my parent's owned before that, but that was the first I ever bought myself.

I think mine was Dizzy Up The Girl by The Goo Goo Dolls, probably... gosh.... nine years ago. I was around 13 then, really dug Slide and Black Balloon, so I saved up money and bought it.

I don't remember the first one I ever bought but the first ones I ever owned were Stunt by Barenaked Ladies and Desireless by Eagle Eye Cherry.
