A very shitty platformer called "Glover". Poor controls, bad graphics, and you played as a fucking GLOVE.
Dude, no way. I help take care of an autistic kid and the only console he has to this day is an N64. We usually just play games like Zelda:OOT (yes I get paid to watch a kid play Zelda) but today I helped him with that game. It was like playing a migraine.

I remember liking pretty much every game as a kid, so it's kind of hard for me. I can remember playing this Razor Scooter game, that was supposed to be like Tony Hawk only with scooters, by golly it stunk.

First one I can remember is Superman 64, but I did play the SNES a while before that, so it could have been one on there.
On Superman 64: All I did was the training level over and over. Didn't even bother with the story. Probably didn't help I was too young to understand it.

I'm about to reveal how ancient I am. Like others here, my first console as a 2600. I didn't buy ET though.

There was this pointless game called Firefighter, where you had to put down fires on a building. That is the only 2600 cartridge I bought that I remember going... man, this is bad.

In my defense, back then all the info you could get before buying the game was the box art, and maybe word from your friends.

The box art for FireFighter was pretty... at the time. So were most Imagic boxes.

I've been lucky. I have enjoyed almost every game I've ever played, good or bad. For instance I enjoyed Red Ninja: End of Honor, a game that tends to be remembered for being terrible if it's remembered at all. The first bad game that I didn't enjoy was Colosseum: Road to Freedom for the PS2. It had an excellent item system, but that was it. My friend enjoyed it and beat the game multiple times but I couldn't manage to get past the clunky controls and the Gladiator/Spartacus-knockoff story.

Champions of Norrath for the PS2.
Say what now.

Exactly.

(It's one of those games from the "Let's take a popular CRPG and turn it into a shitty console dungeon crawler" era, like Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance or Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel. In this case the victim was Everquest, but I didn't know that at the time, I was 13 so I was just like "Swords, woo!")
Champions of Norrath (and its sequel Champions: Return to Arms) are games that were meant to be played with a friend. I remember playing single player and being bored as crap. Then when my friend joined in it became a real good game.

But its based on opinion. I really want another Champions for this generation consoles. Split screen enabled too.

Difficult to say. As a kid, pretty much everything I played, I liked in some way.

I guess the closest I can get to it is Elite II. Don't let that mis-lead you though, I played it on an Amiga emulator on my old PII when I was 14, 15. Curiosity got the better of me is my defence. Damn but that game is as buggy as all hell, loved every second of it and played it for weeks before I finally lost interest.

E.T.... my parents have an atari... dont believe it works anymore. though the first really bad game was rocky and bullwinkle for the nes which is the first system i played with before i played with the old atari. Seriously some of the game was nearly un playable because ledges and stuff wouldnt register your character and half the time you werent exactly told what you were doing.

Man i wanna play kirby for the nes again...

I'm ashamed to admit that I actually owned a copy of Shaq-Fu...

Save your tears. I don't deserve them.

I'm not going to go back to old consoles and pick a title because that's too easy of a cheap shot for me to take. So I'll go with 3 recent games I have. Too Human, Kane & Lynch 2, and White Knight Chronicles. I literally chased down my best friend to force him to take those games out of my presence...

Diablo II was addicting for me not really fun just "oh sweet a rune" but in the end it just got down to having good gear through tons of farming or people used bots/hacks. It wasn't very fun for me after my friend quit. I realized all this 3 years of playing it. I felt sick and never played again after i realized how much I was into that shizz. I started playing fast paced games like unreal tournament afterward and let me tell you in 5 minutes of playing games with nonstop action like that equals weeks of online rpgs atleast in my experience.

I think this game really doesn't apply to the general terms of games as it was the nature of the exploits caused by others and the online issues not the game itself. It was a cool game single player.

This is a difficult thread for me because the games that I remember from my childhood were awesome, I barely recall the bad ones. Delightfully ironic considering what an apathetic and cynical person I can be.

However, the first game I can remember playing that sucked was Spice World on the Playstation 1.

The reason I even played that is because occasionally I used to spend weekends up the coast at my aunt's house. She and her partner owned a Playstation with only two games, and since I happen to have two sisters I was usually out-voted and stuck. Thankfully the "campaign" was about 15 minutes long, but the experience always sucked.

I can't remember the name of it, but it was an pre-Bejeweled type game where it was in Egypt and it was that kinda jewel matching game. It was on the original Playstation. Cleopatra I think?
I was only around 4 or 5 and got bored by it in minutes.

I think it was the Home Alone 2 game for the SNES.All I remember is getting to the elevator and fighting a guy in a trench coat at an elevator.
