Your first car and how you lost it

A short explanation:

My first car was given to me, it was a Skoda Felicia in a metallic green. It was very nice, despite their reputation.

On June 3rd this year the aforementioned car was written off when a moron pulled out of a crossroads into my line.

I was more than a little upset.

So: tell me what your first car was and how you lost it. Did you sell it? Did you crash it? Did you take it to a wasteland and burn it for insurance fraud?

We do have a multicultural society here, as some of the more awake readers will have noticed, so pictures to explain to the average British what a Cadillac is and vice versa in respect to Americans and a Rover.

Also: Shane, if you're reading this, you're a dick for writing my car off.

Ahh.....the first car. It was a 1984 Nissan Pulsar.

I wound up crashing it. I was heading to pick up my pay check after school on a day when it had been misting all morning. The roads were crazy slick. The truck I was behind suddenly bolted to the other lane to reveal a stoppped car turning left. I had nowhere to go and slid into the back of them. Insurance company wrote it off even though it was repairable and the mechanic that had it even found crazy cheap used parts. Oh well, I got a better vehicle out of it.
