End of June this year my first festival, with great bands like Vader, Dismember, Grave and many more.
One week later I saw Arch Enemy at a "real" concert.

First big concert I went to out of choice was seeing Foo Fighters. In Your Honor Tour, 2005. Earl's Court, London, England.

Still one of the best shows I've been to, and I've been to a few since then.

My first concert was to see Fall Out Boy, I can't remember the year, it was a few years ago and it was at Brixton Academy. We were at the very top row, we could still see the stage though.

It shames me to admit it, but my first concert was The Backstreet Boys... with my mom.

I was in grade 3 okay?

I couldn't have picked a better first concert than the one I went to about 2 months ago. Three Days Grace, Avenged Sevenfold, and Bullet for my Valentine as part of the Welcome to the Family Tour. It was epic. I even got to go crowdsurfing down in the moshpit.

My first real show was Taste of Chaos in 2008, which featured Bullet for my Valentine, Atreyu, and Avenged Sevenfold headlining. Scored pit tickets for a mere $40, and it was more than worth it. I've since seen A7X four more times, at Next Big Thing 8 in 2008 (for all my fellow Tampa Bay-area residents), Uproar 2010, Welcome to the Family in 2011, and most recently two Saturdays ago at Uproar 2011. For that last show, we were only able to get lawn tickets at the ampitheater in Tampa, but I guess they didn't outsell the number of seats they had, so everyone got a free upgrade (we were actually sitting closer than some friends of ours who'd paid twice as much for seats).

The first concert I went to was Queens of the Stone Age, in Oslo in 2008. I remember I went there with five other friends and that I almost got the drumstick, but it swooped 0,00000000000001 millimeter over my finger and landed in the hands of someone else. Anyway, great concert, great music and one hell of an encore.

First concert I ever went to was Wednesday 13's first Halloween show in the UK, in Camden in the electric ballroom.

I love that place so much.

My first one was a rock-ish swedish singer/songwriter called Lars Winnerbäck. Really had a blast, it got me hooked and going to concerts is probably the most fun activity i can imagine these days.

I haven't actually been to a concert, the closest thing I've been to was "The Fringe" Out side the London MCM Expo last may.

But yeah, 18 and never been to one. They don't interest me that much. I much prefer putting on a pair of headphones, lying on my bed and ramming the volume up.
A concert makes you appreciate the music on a whole nother level. If you want a perfect performance the record is probably better, but there is a unique element to live performances.

Also, the feeling of being in a crowd of people who love the music as much as you where everyone is waving arms, singing, dancing or whatever is amazing. It doesn't matter what genre it is.

You shouldn't knock it before you try it, you might end up liking it. Just saying.

TECHNICALLY, it was "Weird Al" Yankovic but because my buddy's mum insisted on coming with us (we weren't old enough to drive yet), I don't count it. The first show I went to on my own was Breaking Benjamin with Dropping Daylight at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom in NH. Without boring you folks with the details, I'll just say it was AWESOME!

My first proper concert was back in July, on the 24th, I went to Bounemouth to see Judas Priest Live, it was the last UK date of their Epitaph tour, after which they've announced they plan to stop touring, so it was very special for me, catching a last glimpse of a giant of Heavy Metal before they faded into history. Look at me, I'm getting all moony-eyed over it now :)

Alestorm. Got shoved into the mosh pit by some random. About 3 seconds later, I fall over and several people trip and land on top of me, with a lot of weight ending up on my leg. Next day, couldn't move because of the pain.

Still, those 3 seconds were fun enough that I wasn't put off mosh pits as much as you'd expect, considering it was my first pit.

Alice Cooper supported by Motorhead and Joan Jett.
Wembley Arena in 2007.

My first concert was six years ago for my 13th birthday. Was a big Christmas-time event thrown by one of the bigger local rock radio-stations. It had Jimmy Eat World, Keane, Muse, and Velvet Revolver.

Didn't care for Keane all that much, but Jimmy Eat World was alright. Muse and Velvet Revolver definitely made it awesome.

Place went crazy when Velvet Revolver came out, they did their two bigger songs "Set Me Free" and "Fall to Pieces" and then Duff broke out GNR's "It's So Easy" and then stuff when batshit crazy.
