I want to know what your first ever console was, and maybe your favorite game to play on it.

Atari 2600

Space Invaders - not your typical space invaders though - you had a space ship and had to shoot three cannons on the ground before they shot you, each level the cannons would track and shoot faster.

It was actually called laser blast:

The SNES.

Got it when it was state-of-the-art.

And I'm STILL not tired of Super Mario World!

All right Ernie! I knew I wasn't the only one to own a Master System!

So yeah, the Sega Master System was my first console, and my favorite game for it, that STILL is entertaining today, is Spellcaster. It's a side-scroller with magic, that also has a point-and-click element when you get to towns and such, and the storyline is amazing. It's the first big game (one with passwords that you couldn't finish in one sitting) that my dad and I beat...the password feature was rediculous though...capital and lowercase letters, numbers, AND symbols...and the password was something like 20 characters. But it was a big game, so there were probably that many different things to keep track of. Anyone with a SMS (or an emulator, since the save state is WAY easier than the passwords, lol) should definately give it a shot.

Playstation, Crash Bandicoot. Damn that was a fun game, always hated the level where you had to run away from the boulders though.

THIS. Amazing game if you like hitting your face against controllers in frustration.

I remember my first console. Hell, I even remember the exact date I got it. December 24, 1983. I was six years old and got a NES with Super Mario Bros. I think I died on the first troll. :p

Favorite game? Hmmm, probably Die Hard or Ikari Warriors.

First console? NES. Joys of having an older brother. Favorite game? Probably either Mario Bros. 3 or Megaman 3.
