This is interesting, you can kinda guess peoples ages by what their first console was. I see most of you have said something two-generations past, so you'd be roughly 17-20?

My first was the SNES. It was amazingly awesome.

The NES, i got from my brother, and i loved to play super mario brothers 3 i think it was x) i loved it so much i left from my grandmoms funeral at age 4 to go play it x)

A Sears Telegames (aka Atari 2600 VCS). My favorite 2600 game was and still is Yars' Revenge though I didn't own it in the original days. I did have Activision's "Frostbite" which I'd "mastered" enough to earn the points for the patch (though I never got around to mailing in the photos I'd taken of the tv with my score.)

SEGA Master System. My 1st game was Alex Kidd in Miracle World. Such an epic game. Had the 8-bit Sonic games too. Man they were hard as hell!

My most epic experience was always the Playstation though. I remember it so well...

Parents: "we got you that new console"
Me: "oh sweet!! an N64!!"
*opens box*
Me: "what's that? :S" (I hadnt heard of the Playstation, I was such a noob XD)
*pops in Crash Bandicoot 2*
Me: "wow... CD games!"
Me: "Mum... I feel ill, can I have tomorrow off school?"
