Got the Intellivision, then the NES when It launched when I was little.
Yeah, I had an Intellivision, an Atari 2600 and a 7800. I remember getting an NES and thinking it was the greatest thing Id ever seen...

Nintendo Entertainment System (NES)

Duck Hunt

Ironically, I'd grow up preferring First Person Shooters.

PSone, the slim version that came several years later.
And Final Fantasy IX was by far my favourite game on it.

My first was a Siclair Spectrum (with a disc drive) in 1987. It worked for 5 minutes. I took it back to the shop. The new one lasted about 1 hour. I took it back. Then I got a Commodore Amiga 500. That was an awesome machine. These were computers though, not technically consoles. My first console per-se was an original Gameboy. Actually, I also remember getting a strange games machine that only had Pong on it for free - a friend of my grandmother gave it to me. That was probably around 1986...

SNES along with Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.

Still my favorite game of all time... well, second favorite but still.

Well, I had the NES when I was a wee lad, but the first console I remember was when my Dad rented the Sega Genesis when I was about 5. We both played Donald Duck: Quackshot and Biohazard Battle for hours on end. After that he got me the SNES, which remains my favorite console ever, but those few days of the Genesis were glorious indeed.

Original GameBoy. Zelda: Link's Awakening, Kirby's Dreamland, Six Golden Coins and Donkey Kong were always in the slot.

how i loved those games.
Same, especially Mario Bros since that's the one my brother and I would play co-op on. Strangely to this day I still always play Luigi when it comes to co-op on Mario games.
