Your First Crush?

It's my first week in the 8th grade, and I have my first "real" crush. I say "real" because this is the first time where my affection for a girl went farther than just "Oh look, she is attractive, but we can't have a conversation without me wanting to shoot myself."

Anyway, this is my first crush, what was yours? Stories, descriptions, and reasons why you liked them are welcome.

Oh holy crap that was a long time ago now...

I think it was the girl I sat next to in year 9 in maths. We used to get on well, I used to make her laugh and talk about a whole host of random crap. Alas it was not to be as the one day I mustered up the courage to ask her out I got shot down like a clown. I guess aesthetically she was just out of my league. Emotionally I can't recall anything quite as painful as that first rejection, but I guess I'm used to it now.

Welcome to The Escapist. This one time I was visiting my aunt and I met a girl 1 year younger that me. I was 13 or 14 at the time, so we spent some quality time playing chess and cards and going outside. It liked another girl at the time but later realised she was a *****. It could have worked out with her but I threw it away. Then I had a crush on her for about a year and I never saw her again.

*Starts crying and grabs a magnum from under the bed*

A girl in school, let's call her "Sarah". Nice and short...(this was in Year 8 btw)

I liked her, didn't have the stones to tell her that directly, so instead on valentines day, I sent her a valentines card at break time, by way of her friend.

Her friend then proceeded to show just about everyone she could in the playground and school, then gave it to her Sarah, thus humiliating me to no end. By lunchtime, Sarah's friend then came back to give me a rather detailed letter from her about how she wasn't interested.

Oh yes, that was awesome.

Mine was also in 8th grade. I had a terrible crush on her. Asked her to the 8th grade dance. She backed out. I was sad.
But, oh well, I moved that summer anyway. I saw her one more time, don't know what I saw in her really.

year 6 (11 years old), she was blond and called imogen, I don't remember much else, these childhood crushes don't tend to leave you with a lasting memory. I do remember meeting her again a few years later when she was a bit more crazy and also a little chubby, not that I'm shallow, but she certainly wasn't! (not shallow, as in fat! yeh!... fine, fuck off then)

Don't know. I don't really have crushes, just greater attractions for a few number of people I know. And since it's at the same time, I hardly count it as a crush.
