Technically, I saw Lifehouse live at the California State Fair like ten years ago. But I only knew one song by them and we weren't even in the stadium, we were just walking by, so I'm not gonna count it.

My first real concert was Relient K, opened by Owl City (before they were famous) and Runner Runner. The opening bands were... alright, I suppose, but Relient K was excellent. I gained some new favorite songs of all time that night, and my friend made a CD that had every song they performed, so that ruled.

In Flames live at Gröna Lund (an amusement park) in Stockholm. I was a bit late, so I was in the back. But I managed to climb up a tree and hang from there. Got great view of the band.

Hmm... My first real concert would've been Coldplay in the Phoenix Park (Dublin, Ireland).

It was fantastic.
I didn't see the first support act because I remember listening on youtube but not liking them
Elbow were the second support act; and I saw them; and they were awesome.
Coldplay came on and I managed to worm my way to about 10 feet back from the stage.

It was AWESOME!

It was a hell of a long time ago, but I'm pretty sure it was Death by Stereo and Teen Idols. I'm not even sure if either band is still around.

My first was Modest Mouse, with Camper Van Beethoven opening, but I was pretty young and hardly remember it, so I count Passion Pit as my first, almost exactly a year ago.

And my second will be Matt & Kim, the 17th! Hellz yes!

Iron Maiden at Globen in Gothenberg,.I think it was 2008, might have been 09 though. We got the tickets 3 days before the concert and we had to pay twice the orignal price.

But it was totally worth it.

Deicide and Gorefest at the London Astoria, I think it was 1993 but I'm not 100% sure.

Econoline Crush and The Tea Party in late 1995, two leading lights of the (sadly) mostly forgotten early 90s Canadian alt-rock scene. Two very different genres, but both excellent!

There was also an opening band, some nobodies called Big Wreck who went on to have a few Top 40 hits in Canada (and singer Ian Thornley went on to a successful solo career), and to be the band I saw four times never intending to, because they kept opening up for bands I liked.

It was Slipknot at the ripe age of 13 (I think). I was shitting myself from start to finish but still loved it. Although, that was soon overtaken by AC/DC as my favourite show.

Ahhhh Bullet are coming tomorrow to Melbourne! A fcking SHAME I'm not going, because I've heard NOTHING but good things about their tours. And BMTH ain't too bad either.

First gig ever? Dragonforce. Yeah, laugh it up. It was pretty...good. They managed to play as fast as they sound in the studio. And i was like...14 at the time. Got into a bit of a mosh, not much.

My favorite gig HAD to be Rise Against. Went crowdsurfing to their closing song, Ready To Fall. So many bruises, such an amazing night.
My Best Gig was Streetlight Manifesto actually :) Tiny venue with like one security guard so pretty anything went, i was right at the front too and got to talk to both saxaphonists for the whole thing and even kalnoky a bit :)

OT-My first live gig was Bowling for soup but i got there late so was resigned to watching from the back, first proper one was Sum41, and that was amazing. I think im past the gig going stage now though, gotta concentrate on uni :(

It was October 17th, 2009 in Charlottesville, Virginia at the John Paul Jones Arena. That was the night I saw Metallica. It was amazing.

presumably some local band. Haha. I've been to too many. Otherwise my first concert experience is from a festival. I believe Volbeat was the first band we saw.

My first live concert was probably some orchestra with my dad as a kid. My first "cool" live concert was seeing the Arrogant Worms live. That was a fun concert.
