I have a lot of questions about you and your games. Why? Well, because I am curious, of course! ;)

Which was the first video game you have ever played?
Was it a video game that brought you into gaming or did it need a another game?
Was there anybody who influenced you? (A brother or sister, uncle, friend, whoever, who brought you into gaming)
Do you play only PC-games or do you also own (a) console(s) and which?*
Which was the first video game you bought yourself?
Which was the last one?

----
*It's just a question, no judgment :)
----

As a good example I will answer my own questions:

Which was the first video game you have ever played?

I think my first game ever was Kirby's Adventure (NES)
Oh, cute little Kirby!
Years later I bought it as WiiWare for the virtual console just out of nostalgia.

Was it a video game that brought you into gaming or did it need a another game?

The most memorable games of my childhood are Kirby's Adventures and The Secret of Monkey Island.
I loved Kirby as well as Monkey Island. But I sucked at MI. I didn't know how to save, so I played the beginning over and over again.

Was there anybody who influenced you? (A brother or sister, uncle, friend, whoever, who brought you into gaming)

My cousin had a NES and later on a PSOne. I was highly fascinated but he never let me play :(
My best friend when I was a kid had an Amiga (well it was her sisters Amiga) and an Atari. Mostly she played and I watched.
Considering this I wonder no more, why I had to buy my very own console

Do you play only PC-games or do you also own (a) console(s)or handhelds and which?

I rarely play PC-games, most of my games are games for consoles.
I have at home next to my PC a Wii, GB, DS, PSOne (broken), PS2 and PSP.
My brother has a N64, GC, GBA, Xbox 360 & PS3. Luckyly we get along quite well, that I can lend his consoles :)

Which was the first video game you bought yourself?

My first self-bought game were actually three games at once: Castlevania - Symphony of the Night, Final Fantasy VII and Dynasty Warriors (all PSOne)
Two out of three great games. Not bad for an inexperienced girl ;)

Which was the last one?

Valhalla Knights (PSP), Tales of the World (PSP), Gray Matter (PC) & Grotesque Teactics (PC)

I am looking forward to read your answers :)

Which was the first video game you have ever played?
Super Mario Bros.
It came with the NES my friend had and I was blown away by it.
Before that I had played some of the crappy game & watch style things probably, but I don't recall that clearly.

Was it a video game that brought you into gaming or did it need a another game?
It served as a perfect introduction for me. I stayed loyal to Nintento until the SNES age, after that I became a PC gamer (with a small sidestep into a second hand C64 first). My most loved games are still the LucasArts and Sierra adventures.

Was there anybody who influenced you? (A brother or sister, uncle, friend, whoever, who brought you into gaming)
The aforementioned friend. Later on it was a small group of fellow adventure game fans.

Do you play only PC-games or do you also own (a) console(s) and which?
I have a self-built gaming PC and a laptop for PC gaming, and also own a PS3 and a PSP. I have rather quickly come to prefer the PS3 for gaming since getting it (early 2010), but still use the PC as well. Basically multi-platform with a preference for the PS3.

Which was the first video game you bought yourself?
If you count bundled games, Super Mario Bros. which came with the NES I saved money for. My parents sponsored me with half the cost if I remember correctly.
If you do not count bundled games -- I think the first one I bought was Kung-Fu (the NES port of Kung-Fu Master).

Which was the last one?
Bought just yesterday, Infamous 2 for the PS3.
Last PC game was Episode 4 of Winter Voices (Steam), last full game Hydrophobia: Prophecy (Steam).
Last PSP game was GTA Chinatown Wars.

Which was the first video game you have ever played?

I think if i remember right it was the original Mario Bros. (NES)

Was it a video game that brought you into gaming or did it need a another game?

It was a stepping stone that brought me into games like Super Mario World (SNES). It wasn't until I got to play Final Fantasy IV (or II if US) that I really got hooked.

Was there anybody who influenced you? (A brother or sister, uncle, friend, whoever, who brought you into gaming)

My older brother brought me into that loop of gaming. I remember distinctly how; we rented Final Fantasy II (IV) from the local corner store. The only problem was that it didn't save when you turned the SNES off. So we ended up playing this game for 36 hours straight, never turning the system off until we finished. That's really what drew me in.

Do you play only PC-games or do you also own (a) console(s) and which?

Oh, no, I play both, Steam's too much to resist.
I currently own a Wii, Gamecube, PS3, 64, GBA, SNES and toploading NES.
I used to have a PSOne, PS2, Xbox, 360(RRoD)

Which was the first video game you bought yourself?

If i remember right, it was Pokemon Yellow for my old Gameboy. I miss that thing.

Which was the last one?

I actually bought Final Fantasy Tactics (PSOne) just a week ago, as well as BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger(PS3). I'm enjoying both.

Which was the first video game you have ever played?
The original Sonic the Hedgehog on the Sega.

Was it a video game that brought you into gaming or did it need a another game?
It entertained me as a kid but the game that really brought me in was Battlefront. I used to go over to a friend's house way back when and we'd play it all the time.

Was there anybody who influenced you? (A brother or sister, uncle, friend, whoever, who brought you into gaming)
Not really. Expect for maybe the guy who sold me my first console, a xbox, for $20. It didn't break done until 2 years later, right when the 360 came out, so good deal for me.

Do you play only PC-games or do you also own (a) console(s) and which?
My pc isn't that great, most of the games it can handle are/ have to be a couple years old. And it still runs pretty slow. I own all of the last generation consoles who I visit every once in a while and I also am the proud owner of an Xbox 360 and a PSP.

Which was the first video game you bought yourself?
I don't know, something on the pc. Probably Worms.

Which was the last one?
The new Mortal Kombat was my most recent purchase.

Which was the first video game you have ever played?
Cyber Empire (a.k.a. Steel Empire) back in 1992 was an awesome game you could build up armies of robots that you would battle other nations with in a top down destructable enviroment

Was it a video game that brought you into gaming or did it need a another game?
pretty much Cyber Empire, i was hooked on gaming after playing that

Was there anybody who influenced you? (A brother or sister, uncle, friend, whoever, who brought you into gaming)
i think my brother after he got himself a sega megadrive got me further into gaming

Which was the first video game you have ever played?

My first video game has to be Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast on the PC. Those before that were just educational games.

Was it a video game that brought you into gaming or did it need a another game?

Not sure but I did spent countless hours on multiplayer by myself and soon with others. But I think what really got me playing even more games was Aliens vs. Predator 2. Even if it was a demo, I had tons of fun playing in multiplayer. I managed to make everyone in that game to stop killing each other, hang out and just do stupid shit. Good times.

Was there anybody who influenced you? (A brother or sister, uncle, friend, whoever, who brought you into gaming)

Nope.

Do you play only PC-games or do you also own (a) console(s) and which?

I mainly played PC games but I also had a Gameboy Advance. Wanted a Playstation 2 console back then but my parents wouldn't have it. My father didn't like to spend money on such things and since the computer could play games, I didn't need a console.

Which was the first video game you bought yourself?

Zoo Tycoon, loved that one.

Which was the last one?

Diablo 2 Battlechest, hardly have time to play games nor the money to buy them. :(

Which was the first video game you have ever played?
Super Mario Bros. on the NES. Classically trained right here.

Was it a video game that brought you into gaming or did it need a another game?
It was SMB and Duck Hunt. Many hours spent on those. Gaming grew from there for me. :)

Was there anybody who influenced you? (A brother or sister, uncle, friend, whoever, who brought you into gaming)
My older brother taught me how to play when I was about 3 or 4 so he would have someone to play with.

Do you play only PC-games or do you also own (a) console(s) and which?
PC primarily but I do own the three consoles. Never use the Wii anymore though.

Which was the first video game you bought yourself?
Super Mario 64 I think. Bought it along with the N64 which was a present from my parents.

Which was the last one?
The last one I bought was inFamous 2.

Which was the first video game you have ever played?

Not sure what the first actually was but, it would probably be one of the following.
Commander Keen 4, Wolfenstein 3D, Jill of the Jungle 1, Scorched Earth, Epic Pinball, Rat Pack, Dr. Riptide, Crystal Caves, Noah's Ark 3D, Joshua and the Battle of Jericho. It's gotta be one of them.

Was it a video game that brought you into gaming or did it need a another game?

I guess it was a number of games. The ones listed above would have contributed to it. I was quite young and didn't really think about how 'I was being brought into gaming'. What made me realise how great games are at story telling is Final Fantasy. Even though it uses cut scene like a movie, I still think it's one of the best stories presented in video games. It made me realise how amazing games can potentially be for story telling.

Was there anybody who influenced you? (A brother or sister, uncle, friend, whoever, who brought you into gaming)

There was no one that 'influenced' me, well at least intentionally. My dad bought the families first computer when I was a a year or two old and we had some games on it. My older brother by several years played games and later on got a nintendo 64, continued to upgrade the family computer to run better games and purchased the game boy and later game boy colour. We later got a free PS2 with a mobile phone deal. This would have led to my continued exposure to games as I grew up.

Do you play only PC-games or do you also own (a) console(s) and which?

I started out on the PC. And still occasionally play on the PC. Unfortunately, I don't have much money to buy and upgrade a desktop all the time and it was important that I got a laptop (for studying and so on) I can play almost any game on my laptop, however it requires that I set it up on a desk which is usually messy so I don't bother as much.

I do however have a PS2, PS3, PSP and Nintendo 64 (my brother was an idiot and sold his years ago on a garage sale so I had to get one myself. When my uncle and aunty were moving they were just going to throw it there one out but, I managed to save it). While these cost money as well, I didn't have to pay for them and there are more types of games on consoles I like so that contributed more to me not having a gaming desktop. The PS2 was free like stated earlier. The Nintendo 64 was free because they were going to throw it out anyway. I managed to convince my parents to get a PS3. They needed a blu ray player and tv recorder and I wanted to play the newer games. So it was a good deal for all of us. My parents got me a PSP for my birthday, I had to contribute 70$ or so to it though.

Which was the first video game you bought yourself?

I can't remember. It may have been Rugrats Royal Ransom, Jak and Daxter 1 or something else along those lines. There may be some PC game I forgot about.

Which was the last one?

The latest one I purchased was Rogue Galaxy for the PS2. I won it in an auction on eBay and am quite satisfied with the price. It was in really great condition and was cheaper than all of the other copies available in PAL. I could have got an NTSC version for a couple of dollars extra however and while I do have the means to run it on my PS2 it's more hassle to run NTSC games the way I do it so I was willing to pay the extra $2 for the PAL version.

Other recent purchases are, Okami (PS2), Radiata Stories (PS2) and Eternal Sonata (PS3)

Soon to purchase is Dark Cloud 2 otherwise known as Dark Chronicle. Then that means I'll own all of Level-5's PS2 games. I'll have to pickup White Knight Chronicles 2 sometime since it also contains one on it was well. 2 birds with one stone.

Which was the first video game you have ever played?

Im going to say Mario, not any one in particular as we had one of those collections of games.
Duke Nukem 3D and Goldeneye were also great.

Was it a video game that brought you into gaming or did it need a another game?

Those games pretty much cemented my love for gaming.

Was there anybody who influenced you? (A brother or sister, uncle, friend, whoever, who brought you into gaming)

Oh yes I would play all day with my brothers and sister on Mario and play Duke at a friends place for hours.

Do you play only PC-games or do you also own (a) console(s)or handhelds and which?

I own an Xbox 360 but recently I've been playing a lot of games on PC.

Which was the first video game you bought yourself?

ohh man..... I honestly can't remember but I did rent out a game every week XD.

Which was the last one?

Frozen Synapse and Terraria.

Q: Which was the first video game you have ever played?

A: The first video game I ever played is hazy to remember, since I was two years old at the time ^^;
My father had found out about Pokémon and downloaded a ROM of it. I used to sit on his lap at the computer and make the character move around. I also used to shout "Hotti [the name of our Charmander] use Ember! Hotti use Scratch!" at times.
Around the same time we also had a copy of Sonic the Hedgehog on the computer. I used to be able to play the first few levels.

Q:Was it a video game that brought you into gaming or did it need a another game?

A: For my fifth birthday I received a copy of Pokémon Yellow and a Gameboy Color. That just sort of started me off.
I also remember being very hooked on Harvest Moon.

Q: Was there anybody who influenced you? (A brother or sister, uncle, friend, whoever, who brought you into gaming)

A: Definitely my father, again. My mother's been disapproving of games for a while. Especially when he introduced me to Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos...
I also used to watch him play Diablo c:

Q: Do you play only PC-games or do you also own (a) console(s) and which?

A: I mostly own PC games due to being glued to my desk.
I own a Nintendo DS Lite, Advance SP, and Gameboy Color. All in full working condition [except the DS whose screen cuts out a bit when at the wrong angle].

Q: Which was the first video game you bought yourself?

A: I bought a second hand copy of Pokémon The Trading Card Game. I still have it c:

Q: Which was the last one?

A: The Sims Medieval. ene;
I'm not usually a Sims fan. It was quite expensive [srsly around £30 or something...]

Which was the first video game you have ever played?
Teddy Boy on the Sega Master System

Was it a video game that brought you into gaming or did it need a another game?
It was a combination of many games, since my uncle had quite a collection.

Was there anybody who influenced you? (A brother or sister, uncle, friend, whoever, who brought you into gaming)
Well my Uncle introduced me to it, but I surpassed him very quickly heh.

Do you play only PC-games or do you also own (a) console(s) and which?
I play everything. Own all current consoles bah a DS.

Which was the first video game you bought yourself?
Hmmm. Probably Alien Trilogy on the PC.

Crash Bandicoot and Skull Monkies were my first games.

I needed the rest of the Coot series along with Tekken and Jet Set Radio for the dream cast

My big brother was the all time gammer and I would and watch him play until I was old enough and he trusted me enough to not break his games. He had the N64, Dreamcast, PS and Xbox.

I also played PC but wasn't all that into it since I was small and couldn't remember the keys. I played Full Throttle and American McGee's Alice.

The first game I bought was Devil May Cry, the same day I bought the 360.

Last game I personally bought was Ninja Gaiden 2 when it had come out(which I still haven't finished)

- Which was the first video game you have ever played?
Technically speaking, it was Granny's Garden on a BBC Micro. Yes, I'm that old.

- Was it a video game that brought you into gaming or did it need a another game?
Weirdly yes it did. I was about 5 or 6 at the time, and the school had one computer that was wheeled round the classes. I got to play Granny's Garden and another game called The Wizard's Revenge. I had to be pried off it at the end of the day with a crowbar because I wanted to finish them. Whilst it was another few years before I got a computer of my own, that set the trend.

- Was there anybody who influenced you? (A brother or sister, uncle, friend, whoever, who brought you into gaming)
Not really, unless you count my parents for buying me a Commodore Amiga 500 for Christmas in 1989. This was my first real foray into gaming, and I still have that Amiga (in working condition no less) to this day.

- Do you play only PC-games or do you also own (a) console(s) and which?
You want the list? Alright. In our house, my other half and I possess: Two PS3s, Two PS2s, a PS1, an XBox 360, an XBox, an Amiga, a GBA, a SNES, a PSP and about four PCs of varying specs.

- Which was the first video game you bought yourself?
Christ, this is going back... I think it was Rainbow Islands, for the Amiga.

- Which was the last one?
Portal 2.

My first game was Rubicon, a game made by fans of Marathon, using the same engine. I played it when I was around 4, 5, or 6... I can't remember. Basically, I just randomly hit buttons, and eventually learned how to properly walk, and to aim somewhat, but I never got into it.

I needed Mario Kart to get into gaming.

My friend, who introduced me to Mario Kart, brought me into gaming.

I suppose I technically began playing PC, but I've been playing almost solely on consoles for my entire gaming career.

I'm fairly certain that the first game I bought myself was I-Ninja for the gamecube (amazing game).

The latest game that I bought myself was Outlands.

Which was the first video game you have ever played?
Ah I remember this well. First game I ever played was Ken's Labyrinth on PC. Cracking game it was too.

Was it a video game that brought you into gaming or did it need a another game?
It would be a combination of that game, Super Mario World and Pokémon Blue at a slightly later date that really got me into being a gamer and I haven't looked back since.

Was there anybody who influenced you? (A brother or sister, uncle, friend, whoever, who brought you into gaming)
Yeah, it was my brother that ended up getting me into it.

Do you play only PC-games or do you also own (a) console(s) and which?
I never play PC games, because I only have a laptop that wasn't made to handle gaming in any way. I currently own an X-box 360 and a DS Lite. In the past I've owned a SNES, N64, Playstation 1, Gamecube, Playstation 2, and a Wii. And in terms of handhelds I've owned a Gameboy Pocket, a Gameboy Colour, a Gamebody Advance, and an original DS.

I guess you could say I'm kind of a Nintendo guy through and through.

Which was the first video game you bought yourself?
I think it was Donkey Kong 64, if my memory serves me right. Bought it with money I got for my birthday and played the living crap out of it for years.

Which was the last one?
Most recently it was [Prototype]. I should explain, I bought it a few weeks ago, I didn't just buy it at launch and haven't bought any games since.

If we're on about what game I bought at launch most recently, then it's L.A Noire which I managed to snag a day before release due to my friendship with the guy who runs the game shop in my town.

Which was the first video game you have ever played?

The first would have been DOS based games back on an old 486. This was pre-Window's 3.1 even which was a massive upgrade for us.

It wasn't really something that got me into gaming as such, that was when I got my first Playstation.

[EDIT] Completely forgot about my Sega Master System with pre-loaded Sonic. How could I forget THAT, idiot.

Was it a video game that brought you into gaming or did it need a another game?

My Playstation opened up a lot of opportunities and it was the console itself that got me into gaming more than the actual games.

Was there anybody who influenced you? (A brother or sister, uncle, friend, whoever, who brought you into gaming)

It was something that I could beat my older brother at, so in that sense it influenced me to play as much as I could.

Do you play only PC-games or do you also own (a) console(s)or handhelds and which?

I play RTS on PC, but apart from that I prefer the ease of console gaming. I currently have a 360 myself, though in the house there is a PS3 and a Wii as well. I did have a PSP but found I wasn't really playing it so I ended up selling it to pay for Christmas presents this past year.

Which was the first video game you bought yourself?

First video game I got myself was Worms for Playstation. For PC it was F15 Strike Eagle, I still prefer it over the more modern fighter pilot games. Then I moved onto X-Wing vs TIE-fighter which was the first game I really got consumed with to the extent that my parents limited the amount of time I could spend on the PC in one go.

Which was the last one?

Last one would have been War of the Worlds (PC and Playstation) I managed to pick them up off of ebay quite cheaply and their simplicity in design whilst maintaining a great difficulty curve makes them absolute genius

Which was the first video game you have ever played?
- Mortal Combat on the Sega Megadrive

Was it a video game that brought you into gaming or did it need a another game?
- That pretty much hooked me but sonic 2 certainly helped.

Was there anybody who influenced you? (A brother or sister, uncle, friend, whoever, who brought you into gaming)
- My dad, he's bought all my major consoles, from the Sega right up to my current 360 which I got for my birthday a few years ago

Do you play only PC-games or do you also own (a) console(s) and which?
- Some PC games, but not many, also own all major consoles at the moment, well only the 360 is mine, but my brother also has a PS3 and we have a wii in the living room that no one really uses anymore except at christmas

Which was the first video game you bought yourself?
- So long ago I really can't remember, I think it may have been Lego Rock Raiders on Playstation 1

Which was the last one?
- I believe it was Portal 2, or may have been Dawn Of War Soulstorm on steam, because I lost my other copy of DoW

I don't know what the first game I played was. It was probably something on the NES, as my brother and I had that console, but I was too young to remember it. I also have fond memories of the SNES. However, the game that made me a gamer is probably Diablo II. It was my brother that brought me in to gaming.

Currently I own a N64, Gameboy Advance, PS2 and an XBox360, in addition to the relatively new gaming computer. I have no preference as to which console I play on, it largely depends on the game.

I have no idea which was the first game I bought myself. All my early game experiences were my brother's games, and I cannot remember when I started buying it myself. I'm not sure which game I bought last, but I think that would be Dragon Age 2, if you don't count the preorder for Gears of War 3.

Which was the first video game you have ever played?
That would be either Chuckie Egg or Snapper (a Pac Man clone) on the BBC Micro.

Was it a video game that brought you into gaming or did it need a another game?
I did enjoy all of those old games, but it was probably Monkey Island 2 on the Amiga (which for some strange reason I played before Monkey Island 1) that got me properly hooked on gaming.

Was there anybody who influenced you? (A brother or sister, uncle, friend, whoever, who brought you into gaming)
Mostly my father - he bought the BBC and Amiga, and a lot of the initial games that we played on them. My sister probably also helped, as she enjoyed gaming almost as much as I did.

Do you play only PC-games or do you also own (a) console(s)or handhelds and which?
I don't play many PC games. The vast majority of my games are on the Xbox 360. I also have a PS3 and Wii hooked up to my TV, and an Xbox, PS2 and GameCube gathering dust in a cupboard, as well as a DS and a PSP which are knocking around somewhere.

Which was the first video game you bought yourself?
I think the first game I bought myself was a platformer for the Amiga called Zool. Was actually quite good.

Which was the last one?
Most recent game I bought was Duke Nukem Forever. Shame it's not as good as Duke Nukem 3D was back in the day :(

Edit:
LittleBlondeGoth said:

Woo! I'm not the only one here to have had a Micro - but I don't consider myself "old" ;)
