Looking back over the years I've noticed the first game you ever get whenever you get a new gaming system is usually unforgettable. For me it was a combination of excitement over a new system and the fact that I would be broke and only afford a game or two for awhile. List your systems and the very first game or games you got with it if you can recall.

NES - Super Mario Bros./ Duck Hunt
Gameboy - Tetris
SNES - Super Mario World
Genesis - Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Gameboy Advance - Bomberman Tournament
Nintendo 64 - Super Mario 64
Playstation - Final Fantasy 7
Dreamcast - Soul Calibur
Playstation 2 - Metal Gear Solid 2
Gamecube - Metroid Prime
Xbox - Halo
Nintendo DS - Mario Kart 7
PSP - Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7
Xbox 360 - Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion
Wii - The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess
PS3 - Metal Gear Solid 4
3DS - Fire Emblem Awakening
PS Vita - Ys Memories of Celceta

N64: Donkey Kong 64
Gamecube: Super Mario Sunshine
Wii: Wii Sports (well, Wii Play if you don't count the fact that Wii Sports came with the system)
Gameboy Color: I don't remember. I think it might have been the Toy Story 2 game.
Gameboy Advance: Again, I don't really remember. I think it was Sonic Advance 3.
Nintendo 3DS: Shin Megami Tensei 4
Playstation 2: Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3
Xbox 360: Skyrim (Crysis 2 if you don't count bundles)

NES: Super Mario Bros.
Although that NES was a wedding gift to my parents from my Nana so i dont know the order of the games but I do know when my dad set it up for me to play with we had that and that is what I first played.
Playstation: Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness
Playstation 2: Ape Escape 2
Gamcube: technically got a bundle of games at once for it since it was a Christmas gift but the first one I opened was I think Metroid Prime.
Xbox: It was my dad's decision to buy that one but in the end I played it the most so I'll count it, Halo.
Gamboy Player:( got this before I got a GBA) Metroid Fusion
Gameboy Micro: (technically redundant but eh) Some Mario Bros. Super Mario 2 combo game
Xbox 360: Halo 3
Wii: (not counting Wii Sports) Metroid Prime 3
PS3: Metal Gear Solid 4.
Nintendo DS: Chrono Trigger
Nintendo 3DS: Super Street Fighter 4
Gaming Laptop: uh... Technically Portal 2 but that was the free one that I had sitting around for a while because of PS3 bonus code and Steam Account Link. Other wise I got it around a Summer Sale so... many.
PS Vita: Persona 4 Golden
Wii U: Got the Wind Waker HD version so like Wii Sports if a bundle doesn't count, Earthbound.

25% of the consoles listed I never actually owned, though I did play each one of the ones listed to an extent.

PC- Can't actually remember, but my dad says that is was a Toy Story game
NES- I think it was Super Mario Bros. 3, but I can't be sure.
SNES- Mortal Kombat. No joke, going through a box of games my dad had, Mortal Kombat was the first one I played. i couldn't even read yet.
Gameboy- Tetris
Gameboy Color- Pokemon Blue Version. Loved that game to death and I still have the cartridge somewhere, doubtful it still works.
N64- Pokemon Colosseum. My dad got Mario 64 while in Australia, but completely forgot that Australian cartridges didn't work on domestic consoles. I have yet to forgive him or the land down under.
Gameboy Advanced- Pokemon Ruby.
Gamecube- Animal Crossing.
PS2- Some Dragonball Z fighting game
Xbox- KotOR. Still my favorite individual game of all time.
Nintendo DS- Advanced Wars: Dual Strike. Probably my first strategy game.
Wii- Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I am probably the only person I know that didn't play Wii Sports first.
PS3- Resistance: Fall of Man
Xbox 360- Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2

Nothing on the new generation, yet. Looking back, I can't believe how varied the genres I actually tried were.

Some ancient Atari my father had - Space Invaders
PC - DooM
PS1 - Wipeout
Gameboy Colour - Pokemon Yellow
N64 - A mario game. Can't remember which one. Nintendo never had much of a presence in my life.
Xbox - Halo: Combat Evolved
Gamecube - Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader
PS2 - Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty
Xbox 360 - Prey
PS3 - Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
3DS - Pokemon Y
Xbone - Titanfall
PS4 - Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes

I feel like I need to explain myself. When I was a kid, I spent a lot of time on the PS1. I got given a Gameboy for Christmas one time, and I played the shit out of the Pokemon games on that, but by the time the Advanced came out, I was over it and had gone back to the PS1 playing a bit more mature games (Christ Alive, I'm not saying the games are bad and adults are dumb for liking kids stuff. Unlike a lot of other people, childish stuff grew off of me). I never had an N64, I simply played it one time over at a relatives house. But in my household, Sony was the master race. And for a massive amount of time until I was nigh on an adult, we could never afford a decent gaming computer, so my PC gaming was either breif hours at mates places, or ancient games. I was, and still am, a massive console user. And enjoy it.

Spectrum: Oracles Cave (had tape with a lot of games on it, this is the one I remember most)
Sega Master System: Wonderboy 3 (Dragon's Trap)
Amiga: Captive (RPG dungeon crawler with customizable robots)
PC: Civilization (bought it second-hand and the guy left a lot of games on there, again this is the one I remember, Wolfenstein/Doom were almost certainly on there as well)
N64: Want to say Golden Eye, might have been Mario 64
Dreamcast: Sonic Adventure
PS2: Gran Turismo
XBox 360: Bought about 20 second-hand games including GTA4, Red Dead, Mass Effect 1+2, Dirt 2, Project Gotham, Assassin's Creed 2. (This was in 2010 long time after launch and I was taking abroad with me so wanted to stock up)

Gamebot Pocket - Zelda Links Awakening and Warioland
Playstation 2 - Metal Gear Solid 2 and possibly Red Faction, Timesplitters and Dead or Alive 2.
GBA - Castlevania and Circle of The Moon
Gamecube - Resident Evil 4 and Windwaker
Xbox - Don't remember, Arx Fatalis maybe? Slightlt remember Deus Ex 2 and maybe Galleon
Playstation 3 - Ridge Racer 7, not sure if anything else, don't really remember the order i just know that i played a lot of RR7, Dmc4, Resistance and MGS IV in the early days of my purchase.
Wii - No More Heroes and Mad World (Second time i bought a Wii, the first time i got Mario Galaxy and Twillight Princess, i think?)
DS (Orcs and Elves, Phoenix Wright: Justice for all and Rhytm Paradise)
N64 - a lot of crap, not a fan of that console...
Mastersystem - a lot of different games, around 22 i think Castle Illusion and Sonic among others.

Of all of these, i own most of the games and systems except for Gameboy and Gameboy Advance (Still regret that i sold those games :/), Xbox and Gamecube (Miss some of the games but hated the cheap controller and the system kept crashing). I might get rid of my N64 as i dislike most of the games on it, aside from that still own and enjoy most of mentioned stuff. Ps2, Mastersystem and DS are probably my favourites at the moment though i also get a lot of enjoyment out of my wii and ps3.

Hmm. I'll give this my best shot -

PC DOS: Paratrooper
ZX Spectrum: Operation Wolf
NES: Rainbow Islands
PC Windows 3.11: Dune 2
PC Windows 95: Sam and Max Hit the Road
Playstation: Demolition Derby
Playstation 2: Red Faction
Xbox: Halo
PC Windows XP: Neverwinter Nights
Xbox 360: Oblivion

I'm pretty sure the order is correct there. My gaming history looks very odd when laid out like that.
