An epic turquoise GameBoy Color with Pokemon Gold and some other game... possibly a Batman game of some sort.

That is, unless you consider Pinball and Minesweeper on Windows '98 a console.

NES when I was 2 years old. First game was either Duck Hunt, Super Mario Bros, or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Mine was the Sega Mega Drive when I was about 5. Then I got an original gray Playstation when I was about 7. Those two were the start of my gaming history.

Sony PlayStation when I was around, say, 7 - 10. However, I started gaming on the Commodore 64 when I was around three. But as that's a personal computer, and not a console, it doesn't count in this case.

NES in 1988 with Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt. This thread makes me feel really old. The number of people answering Xbox, N64, etc. is disturbing. I was in high school when the N64 was released and well into my college years when the Xbox came out.

NES.
Piece of shit never worked but when it did we only got to play for like 15 minutes before the damn thing froze, then I'd spend about 2 hours trying to make it work again.
DAMN. I loved that thing.

SNES, I was a late starter, until then I'd been going round friends houses to play, using windows 3.1 (i think it was called) dos games or watching johnny castaway screensaver antics. that last, while fun at the time, was a definite low point.

The NES and some imported console from japan that used rectangular cards as cartridges. i have NO clue what that was called, but it had dope gfx and it had the coolest 2D platforming shooter.
