the first game I ever played on my home computer was wolfenstein 3D

the game scared me witless but I still have found memories of it.

perhaps the scariest part was that the bodies always turned so their feet were facing you. I always expected them to come back to life.

Killing the boss of the deku tree on Loz:OOT when I was 6.

Good times, good times.

My first gaming experience is hard to recall... it was either playing hours and hours of Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt with my sister when I was about 5 or it was when my parents bought a computer for their business and got Spy vs. Spy and some weird game where you played a little two-legged pod robot that got various upgrades throughout the game. I wish I remembered the name of that game. It was awesome.

"Give CHARMANDER a nickname?"

Either that or inputting my name in the same game, hitting the wrong button, and becoming "M".

It is a warped memory, but I think I played Tomba on the Super NES. That and some spy game for the N64.

I became a gamer when I got my PS1 and played the Hell out of Grand Turismo 2 and Street Sk8ter. Man, were those good times!

Pokemon Red, picking bulbasaur then fighting my arch nemisis "Bumface".

I was an immature child.

Gameboy... an era no one shall soon forget...
I had Gold version and I had a slew of Syther eggs. Syther was the only reason I got into pokemon and he has been largly cut from the "list." What ever happened to 150-2 pokemon? Do they even have a number now? What is the point of the card game/video game if you can't "Catch 'em all!"

Ah... you're all so young...
My first memory i THINK would be Space Quest. It was a dos game, that came on a 5 1/2 inch(?) disc, which was actually floppy. I'm not sure if i can remember before that though...
It had pixels the size of your fist, and to do anything, you had to type out the command in exactly right phrasing.
I poured hours upon hours into it, even when i slowly recieved new games. Hell, it's still good today, and i recommend anyone who hasn't played it, to dosbox it. (Along with Police Quest, and Kings Quest)

Space Quest IV.

God, I miss when point-and-clicks were fun. They just don't make good ones anymore :/
Space Quest 6 was my fav! I remember the Termenator was in the basement of a bar and would turn you inside out if you didn't LEAVE NOW! Those were great! I actually found a collection at FYE for about ten bucks. Had 1-6. I wonder why they stopped making them? They were popular at the time.

Think you're old? I remember Zork. That thing had NO GRAPHICS. It was a text game and all you did was type in commands and READ what was happening to you. You whipper snappers got it easy with yer fancy technology and cell shaded graphics! AH, MY HIP!
Seriously, Zork was a good series. Look into it.

My mom used to play the original super nintendo while I fed... Apperently she died on the second last stage and I nearly bit her nips off in the ensuing rage. :D

My first gaming memory? The same mario... and beat my mum at age 5. She nearly bit my nips off!

I thought Zork came out roughly the same time as Space Quest 1? Ah, well, my mistake. But yes, i've played through Zork, Zork Zero, and Return to Zork.
If there's one thing i never want to hear of again... it's a Grue...

True that, and what always got me was the dust bunny. I can remember giving the ATTACK command over and over until that critter filled the room so I couldn't escape. Still don't know how to beat it...
