Ummm...

Mine was the original Project Gotham Racing for the XBox.
Loved it, then I found Halo...
Thank god I grew out of the 'fanboy' phase.

Putt Putt aside, first real game was Sonic on the Master System when I was like 4. Took me like a month to learn how to get up the first slope (so a month to learn how to jump, then).

It was either one of the Mario Party games at my cousin's house when I was quite young, or Tyrian at a friend's house when I was in grade 1.
Tyrian was beyond brilliant. It's only recently I got a version that wasn't shareware.

My first gaming moment was obliviously sending a couple of SCVs (they looked big and tough!) against zerglings and consequently getting owned hard in the first missions of Starcraft.

When I was really small (I think 4 years old), my dad was playing Prince of Persia on what I think was one of the first laptops ever. I would mostly watch as he played, because, being four years old, I kind of sucked at it. I think that was my first contact with gaming.

I think my second game was Battle Chess on that same computer. Does anyone know if there are any modern version of this awesomest chess game ever made?

My earliest memories were watching my dad play the likes of Metroid and Legend of Zelda, those memories are so faint though, only the faintest traces of what they are exist in my mind. I also remember playing Super Mario Bros.... not very well, Super Mario Bros. 2... I always got my mum to beat Birdo for me! And later, when my dad was playing Abe's Oddysey and Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen, when he had to leave for a bit, I used to just mess around! But the very first time I started to play properly, is Donkey Kong 64. My dad got up to the second area (Angry Aztec), but never came back to it... I messed around for about a week, before I decided to continue play... it took me near a decade to finish... damn Donkey Kong arcade!

This is a tricky one, I remember a few games from my childhood years, but not which one was particularly first. Anyway, it was either Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure, the original Prince of Persia, or Tony Hawk's Skateboarding.

Most likely it was Prince of Persia, but I can't be certain. I'll just go with that.

It was Either Michal Jackson's Moonwalker or Sonic the Hedgehog on the Sega Master System, back when I was 4.

Some old Atari game, something to do with wrestling? I forget. My most vivid memories are of Super Mario 1.

Heart of Darkness is the first game I remember playing.

Damn my Dad, that game was so f*cking hard and I was only 4.
